the art for this game is incredible. you've captured the mood/atmosphere incredibly well with the dynamic lighting

The art and music were fantastic. I think if there was a little more instruction within the game it would have been a little bit more intuitive to play

Like the rat, it's so vivid! The art style and the music are very good!

i really loved how the game looked and the sound, and it's impressive how polished the game was for a game made in 48 hours, but the gameplay was kind of weird and hard to grasp, nevertheless it's pretty good and i can see it become a full on game if you give it some time

Interesting idea, but without a tutorial or instructions on the game page about how to play, I didn't quite understand how exactly I was supposed to save the loot. The stamina system also seemed a little too restrictive. Nonetheless, the atmosphere created by the music and visuals was nice, and there is only so much that can be done in 48 hours!

Pretty cool, Good Job!

Cool Visual Fun To play

Great Visual And Feel

I like the idea and movement in general, but stamina system is extremely vague and make game less fun IMHO as you have to wait for quite a time to continue moving. It would be better if I spent stamina only on attack.

I didnt really understand how to play but the movement felt great and the visuals were really good. Nice game for a jam. And also great idea.

This was a fun play through indeed!

Firstly I really adore the artstyle! visually the game looks so nice, the city vibe and the choice of the color palette really makes everything pop and sells the mood, especially considering the character is a rat!

so Great work on the visuals!, gameplay wise the Idea is very creative indeed, the first of this kind i see in this jam so kudos on that too, the gameplay loop works well and is quite enjoyable, while I found myself suite disoriented at first I quickly got used to the controls and found myself enjoying the session much more, feedback and effects wise it was quite polished too,

honestly the game was quite good especially for the execution of such a concept in such a short timeframe! overall quite the solid entry and a memorable one for the rat mechanics xD
Great work!

Impressive for a game jam entry!! It took a while to realise how exactly I was meant to save the loot but it was a little hard to differentiate between chests with loot and chests without. The stamina also seems kind of harsh and is really hard to strategise around :p.

Other than that the people working on the art and music did a really good job!! The atmosphere was perfect and the perspective is really well done.

Nice!!

Took me a little bit to figure out what I was meant to do but afterwards I had a great time! I really liked it. At a certain point it seems the game stopped showing any new dudes but that was quite far in (i would guess a jam restriction? idk) overall cool game dude 8)

Lol, I just ate him.
New adventurers no longer show up after 8:21, and I was alone. ;(
I think, you need to make a tutorial.

Developer (1 edit) (+2)

Hi, 040! That so sad to be alone in a such big city :( Think he just despawned somehow, thanks for the video feedback.  We hurried up and had only 8 minute until the end. And tutorial will really helps players, that true. Thank you for play!

Developer(+1)

LMAO, that was unexpected XD

Yup, tutorial is a big deal, we're on it.

The music was good and the visuals were amazing. Fun game!

I love the presentation and music, really sells the vibe of a village/town being plundered at night. Feel like stamina runs out a tad fast though ;)
Otherwise, fantastic and well done!

Really great work, there's a lot of complicated things that are working together here. The thumbnail is also gorgeous.

Submitted(+3)

Great effort and vibe! Like others my PC struggled a bit but I enjoyed getting the rat scootin around

Submitted(+4)

i like the concept and the art style! the controls felt pretty neat too. but i was pretty confused on what i had to do. a mini tutorial would be nice :) also, i feel like the stamina bar can be put somewhere else in the UI. i didnt notice it until i read the game's description.

great job on this game, though :D

Loved the concept but it was way too heavy for my PC build to process so when I tried to run it was so blurry that I actually got something similar to car sickness :D

The idea is so cool though! I really hope you guys will continue working on this game afterwards
