Such a cute game!
Pulling off 2D in 3D can be tricky, but this game does it very well.

Gameplay side it's a very simple platformer. The movement feels pretty good, but there could have been a few more parkours. Is there a hidden fourth piece of bread for the fourth human btw? We thought there might be, but we couldnt find it.

The idea of playing as a duck that feeds bread to humans in the park is just adorable and the dedicated quack button makes it ever cuter. Great work.

Thank you so much! It was my first time doing 2D stuff in a jam :D Glad you like it!

Sadly there's no fourth piece of bread, that was a mistake on our end as we ran out of time!

Good work! Great presentation and a really fun concept.

The best part of the game is for sure the artwork. The camera seems a little off to me in some way, and there isn't much to do (thanks to time constraints I imagine). I'd love to see more!

imo one of the best looking games in the jam

thank you so much!

This is a wonderful little platformer. The cute, paper cut-out style artwork matches very well with the tone. The little squash and stretch animations on the duck jumping add a lot of appeal.

thank you for playing! super glad someone noticed the little bit of squash and stretch we added and it worked out! hopefully we might add a little more to this game sometime soon

I think the art looks really nice! There's a slight issue with the billboarding where it clips and there's not really much here but what you do have is pretty solid. I could see this working as an overworld for an RPG like Paper Mario or something along those lines

Developer(+1)

thank you! hoping to expand on it a little more some time

The game just looks amazing!!! its a shame there is not a last bread for the human but what its done looks very good. Good job! my game is down here if you want to test it out also :)

I need to know where the last piece of bread is!!! I've looked everywhere and my tiny legs can only take me so far. Love the art!

thank you! sorry about that, I realised just after submitting for the deadline there wasn't enough bread and wasn't enough time to make a new build and add one in

Love the cute artwork and the silly game concept! It would be cool to see further development on the gameplay as it looks pretty good right now :)

Developer

thank you! we kind of ran out of time to put together a nice level but thinking of returning to it again to put a nice area together after the jam

Cute duck <3

Has a few issues (tree sprites laying incorrectly, I lost the ability to jump for some reason, not enough bread for all the humans, camera control feels a bit off) but it feels fun as a prototype.

Thanks for playing!

It was quite a mad dash to submit in time and noticed just after submission some bugs. Hope you enjoyed running around
