Love the little drunk Elvis. I'm not sure I got the thread of the theme here as far as "reversing roles" goes. But the game looked great and got a good laugh from me. Great work.
Thank you. The idea is that you are moving the world instead of the player. But the world feels static so its tough to distinguish whether we are moving the world or the character.
Nice idea ! The game is a bit too slow for my taste, but well executed, even though it does not feel like i'm moving the world, at first it just felt like i was moving drunk Elvis and the lights ! But I got it right afte, Good Game !
Thank you. Yeah, the world does feel static so its tough to distinguish whether we are moving the world or the character
Pretty funny game. I like the concept and the execution. I like the rain.
The game was easy. But if you are on the wrong side of road, you can miss the taxy even without an obstacle. Perhaps you could place your character upper, we don't need to see what's behind.
Overall, Great job.
Thanks for playing the game and the feedback. "Perhaps you could place your character upper". Could you please explain this to me? I am afraid I don't understand it that well. Also yeah, the level design requires quite a bit of work haha.
It's simply put the camera a bit ahead of the character to see more of what's coming (so the character is upper in the screen).
Ohhh, gotcha!
Love the main character and the idea for the game! Excellent!
Thanks a lot :)
I loved playing Drunk driver simulator 5/5 had fun
I think the concept is good but the execution of it could be improved. It doesn't really feel like I'm moving the world, the controls are more or less inverted. I think if moving had actual consequences, such as scattering objects around the level, it would definitely enhance the gameplay and connection to the theme. Lighting around potholes is also a bit too dark, at least at certain parts, since I would sometimes fall without knowing that there was something there. Neat idea, I think it could definitely use some polishing though, nice work!
I agree. I too struggled with making player feel the difference. Scattering objects sounds like a really good idea. The game could use some dynamic movement, physics objects and stuff like that.
The lighting is a known issue that I wasn't able to fix in time :/
I thought the controls were reversed, but after a while I got the concept. I loved the music and lighting was awesome! Cool game
Thanks a lot :)
Interesting game, kept falling over and not sure why.
At first I thought I was moving the drunk, but then I read the signs, very funny game!
Thanks man.
Quick question
Did you fall initially, then discovered you don't really move the player or did you kept falling over regardless?
I kept falling at the truck, at some point even without moving the world, I also couldn't seem to get past the truck, trying to go past it on the right side (where there seems to be a gap).
Oh. Might be a collision issue I think. I do know that there is a collision issue which I unfortunately couldn't fix due to time. Just to be sure, by truck you mean the 4th level, right?
The very first obstacle, white block that looks like a truck to me. I might be very tired and that might not be a truck though hahaha
Ahhh. Gotcha. That is a collision issue. Couldn't fix it in time unfortunately :/
I really like the idea. Its creatve and fun! Also the game looks very good!
Thanks a lot :)
