How does your game fit the theme?
Players place down units that scale over time, which determines their effectiveness in battle. The enemy marshmallows shrink any growing fires they attack, as well as, grow over time, making them hit harder—and harder to roast. Players are required to build a defense that takes into account the scaling of units and enemies and quickly scale your army of furious flame characters to roast the growing hoard of marshmallows.

A cute reinvention of Plants vs Zombies!
I wish it would be possible to replace the burned out burn out tree but I guess that’s on purpose that you cannot do that hehe
The shovel from PvZ ALMOST made it into the jam build, which could be used to remove units like “Burnout” to allow for other units to be placed in that space. Thanks for the comment!
Cute game. I enjoyed the idea of being able to purchase an extra lane to reduce pressure from the enemies 🔥
Really cool and cute game! the foundation for something truly amazing :)

I really enjoyed this one! The idea of making the very field of the PvZ-like game scalable is very good!
(Edit: Did a couple more runs and explored the game a bit more)
Kinda what Hank said earlier, I don't really think there's a lot incentive to expand to multiple lanes. Especially because it costs a lot to put down a unit.
Since, the cost is high initially, I was really wary of using a unit willy-nilly. But once I tried placing more campfires and trying different units, I realized I earn fire more frequently, which was super nice <3
Super super fun though, good job with the game !!:D
Making a PvZ style game where you can *expand the field yourself* is so interesting! If you expanded on this further, I wonder if there's a way to incentivize expanding to additional lanes - special rewards or progression like unlocking cooler towers and/or tougher challenges, maybe. I also couldn't tell if this was already happening, but I was hoping that by my backmost fire shooters' bolts would get bigger by passing through the head of the fires in front - scaling their bullets that way. Very fun!
