Made a Similar Game before! Fun idea!
The level of polish (especially with the art design) is very impressive for a game jam! Really loved how much character you were able squeeze out of these little beans! They're great! I do have some feedback, please take it with a grain of salt, I did not complete the entire game only the first five levels or so so I may have missed something that nullifies what I'm about to say: I'd love to see the scaling aspect taken a bit further. Right now, the amount of little guys you have stacked up feels like a quantitative resource. Managing them is fun, but I didn't feel like I really had to think about the size of my stack beyond do the number of my guys match the current obstacle i.e. do I have enough stacked up to get past this guard, do I have enough to toss onto those buttons, do I have enough to finish the level. I would love to see a more qualitative difference when you have more or less beans on your stack. Maybe you get too tall to access certain areas that only a single bean can fit through? Maybe you can jump over small walls with one bean but not 3? I think there is a lot of potential here and with the instantly charming art style I'm hoping y'all take this further! Honestly, very humbling to see what y'all were able to accomplish in such short time in a 3D game!
Thank you very much for your feedback!
We are glad you enjoyed the game ^^
We actually had planned to include some tighter spaces where you could not fit the entire stack since you would be too tall, but had to scrap the idea because of technical and time limitations.
Will surely include those mechanics if we end up expanding the game in the future!
I'm excited to see where you take this in the future!
Great aesthetic. Controls were a bit frustrating (would have liked to turn the sensitivity down a bit), but a super fun concept with the stacking of the characters and the coat cracked me up. Well done!
Thank you very much for your feedback! We will try to adapt the controls so they are more intuitive in the future :D
Very neat concept, with a funny premise. The pathfinding could use some work.
Thank you very much for your feedback!
We spent some time trying to polish the pathfinding on the levels but due to the time constraints could not polish it as much as we would have wanted.
We will make sure to fix those problems if we expand the game in the future!
This is ludicrous
Really fun game with a funny premise! The visuals are very nice, too! The controls are a bit clunky though, and the camera is really hard to control.
This is a very unique game! I love the style! It's funny and charming. This game is also pretty fun to play. The only issue that I have that brings down the enjoyment for me are the controls. I didn't quite enjoy the point-and-click to move and I had a hard time navigating in space by clicking (I would try to click where I wanted to go but it would end up not where I I wanted to click.
Love the little guys working together and stacking! So silly!
All in all, I enjoyed this game.
Keep up the good work!
I love the concept, art and overall feel of the game! Very polished too. I got stuck at the level with 3 guards, can't figure it out. And the controls with the mouse clicking seem clunky, often I end up clicking on some invisible collider instead of the actual location I wanted to click. I feel like WSAD controls would be much easier to grasp. Nonetheless, fantastic game!
Amazing Work! It’s permissive with what you can click sometimes (like walls and other non-walkable things), but for a jam the production quality is stellar and bug-free!
Nice artstyle, camera could use some work
