Super cool concept! I loved how clear the instructions were and the little comic at the start, wonderful work!

Hi. I made a video with the best games in the GMTK 2024 and your game is included. Here's the link if you want to watch it:

That was fun! The mechanics are competent and fun to use. The style is gorgeous; the art and character designs are exceedingly charming. The creatures are adorable! Good work!

Art style is very cute, love the concept! Got stuck in level 2 when one of the baby kaijus stopped moving after the snorlax looking fella but with some extra time I'm sure those sorts of bugs can be fixed. Great game!

Its a little buggy .. but the kaiju's are super cute so ill let that slide. Good Game. Also is that REIGEN FROM MOB PSYCHO ON THE NEWS!?!?

Developer(+3)

it was not the intention when i was drawing him but it kinda looks like him so imma say its canon

It goes without saying that the presentation is top notch. Love the look and sound of the game. The idea is very creative; having the ability to resize both the "character" as well as the environment is very fun.

I think most problems with the gameplay can be ironed out by giving the player more time to react. As there is barely any, we are forced to rely on trial and error or follow the prompts on screen. I fear the mechanics weren't given enough room to breathe. If you zoom out the camera, and place the dinosaur at the very back, you would give the player more room to venture forward and re-size the environment in preparation. This may also increase the challenge by creating more distance between the scientist and the dinosaurs.

I loved the concept of baby kaijus, and playing as an assistant to an endless runner character was fun! I wish there had been more levels. Also, the art was awesome: the characters were cute, and the background art was particularly excellent!

Great-looking game! Many of the mechanics were interesting too, although I would have liked to see more in-depth usage of them. If you decide to develop this out more (which I think would be worth doing!) take another crack at the opening comic panels as they are really hard to follow unfortunately.

Damn such a good looking game. Everything is super polished. It reminds me of Zombie Tsunami game. Great entry, really enjoyable. Congrats!

This is probably one of the most visually pleasing games to me in this whole jam. The rough almost graffiti doodle aesthetic instantly drew me in, and managing the dinos along with the scaling implementation made the game so fun to play. I want to see this more fleshed out with more levels!! Props to the whole team!!!

The style is simply amazing, I loved the concept art. The game design fitted fully the jam’s theme. Congratulations! Please, keep developing and solving the little bugs.

Love the art style!! The setting is also very cute, playing as an evil scientist guy zapping objects with his grow/shrink ray while he escorts baby kaijus feels sufficiently quirky for a silly game like this.

I love the idea of this game being broken into small challenges rather than a long continuous level. IMO, the scaling mechanic here felt strange (buggy?) because it wasn't always clear which objects were scalable. I assume it's only the objects with an outline when you hover them, but I couldn't always scale up my lil kaiju guy. Certain props also had thick black outlines too, despite not being scalable. Outside of that though, fun game! Music matches the charm, hatching eggs and sacrificing an upscaled baby kaiju gave variety... solid entry overall!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking out the game :D
Little kaiju is only scalable if you have more than one in the horde(I should have done better job informing that). The black outline objects are all scalable. We could have polished the scaling mechanic more, sadly we ran out of time.

Artstyle and animations are super cuuute !

Interesting mix of Zombie Tsunami with the scaling mechanic - maybe a bit under-exploited but overall really nice. Got some physics jank though, that forced me to restart a few times after getting stuck. Thankfuly the levels are not that long so it’s not too bad :)

Loved the art style ! Simple and effective game design, well done !

Super cute art and lovely music!

Great art. A bit janky at times when scaling the Kaiju but other than that I had a good time.

Didn't realize Adachi had that kind of motion.

lovely little game, the art is very cute, a bit janky but enough to work, i feel like most of this game's problems would be solved by pushing the camera out a bit, so the player can have more time to react

Thank you!

Super cute art! I love the scaling mechanic. I would def want more of this game fleshed out!

Thank you!

Cute entry! Felt the art was pretty neat. That said, it does feel rough around the edges at times 😅. Hope to see a more polised version with a bit more challange. Good job!

Thank you

Beautiful picture and nice music, but there is a feeling that it didn't take very long to polish and this is sad

Developer

Yes we were running out of time i wish we had time to polish level design
