How does your game fit the theme?
this game incorporates the concept of a “scale” narratively, referencing a myth involving a set of scales, and considers the possibility of building upon or manipulating its form of measurement. Additionally, the combat mechanic within the game allows for a weapon to scale from a fast, short-range sickle to a stronger, long-range scythe.

Great art! I liked the idea of having to make it through to get the souls/score. I was a bit confused on the advantages  and disadvantages of using each weapon, I imagine they deal different damage and have different ranges, maybe some feedback when hitting enemies would help with that! It was a fun experience though, nice entry!

Incredible. Art. It was fun to toggle between weapons based on the scenario, although I'd suggest having more instant feedback for when you attack. Overall awesome job!

This is a great entry, the cutscene at the start was impressive and the art is terrific. Gameplay was fun too, I liked being able to use different attacks for different situations. Nice work!

I got to 38 souls! I loved the character design and the art. However, i felt that an explanation of how the weapons work would have been cool, and that some weapon balancing was needed because i beat the game doing nothing but spamming Q ...

I got 30 souls! I barely made it through with a sliver of health left. The cutscene at the beginning was super ambitious but you all nailed it. The mood was great and I felt the souls inspiration. The boss design was also great. I would have loved to have more direct feedback when hitting and getting hit by enemies, and the sprint may have been too overpowered, my strategy was to sprint away then turn around and fight the enemies.

Overall great presentation and game! If you have time I'd love for your team to check out my game as well!

Oooooooo, pretty game. The quality is cleeeeean. Love the assets and animation. Only thing, I wished the movement and attacking were more dynamic. Being able to move and attack would've gone miles for action games like this. I also couldn't tell if I was hitting enemies since they didn't react to my attacks. Maybe like a white flash white help? Regardless, would be cool to see this game developed. Cool stuff!

really nice design, good music. it was a little difficult to see if I hit enemies since they dont have an HP bar or any feedback if they take damage. the directional audio of the footsteps was a little bit loud and also confusing but im sure you can polish it some more!

Very nice game! Great art style! Combat is ok, not enough sensory feedback.

Overall great work!

Pretty art style with cool vibe and great animations (I especially liked the big scythe attacks)! Like others have said, it was hard to tell if I was hitting the enemies or not which made it quite difficult :(

Ayy another ancient Egyptian game! Very pretty and well drawn game. The intro was particularly beautiful! The combat was a little tricky to get the hang of with the small hurtboxes and relentless enemies but I still enjoyed playing through this. Well done!

The art is really well done, and the intro is so beautiful. Special points for the cursor art. We struggle to know if we were hitting ennemies and to attack in all 4 directions though. Too bad there is no way to heal some life

The art style is great, but the gameplay has no enough feedback.

The intro is very cool ! About the gameplay itself, you could make more visual and auditive feedback about the different actions (I had trouble knowing when I was hitting an enemy or not) and create something to look after in the level (some kind of collectibles ?) to create an incentive to not stay static. Nice game !
