Really like the idea of it! I found myself locked out of progressing the first time around because of losing the wood gathering room- maybe there might be another way to gather wood, or a prompt to remind the player to build another wood room? Otherwise game had a distinct style and wit to it. Congrats on the game!
pretty cool but too many Menus to navigate through. It can be condensed down I am sure.
Love the art! The UI being held as a sign is charming. I find the goal of the game a bit confusing. I didn't notice my tower was attacked until it was destroyed. How are you supposed to defend yourself? Otherwise, the building mechanic is really fun, good job!
After a couple of playthroughs, it becomes very fun and my understanding of rooms adds so much to the experience! Great job!
- Only comment really is the UI having issues here and there, sometimes the background wouldn't show up, normal had a type sometimes, and where to click wasn't always clear. The other UI though is absolutely gorgeous!
this was an interesting game and concept. I was a bit confused about what my rooms were doing and why no one was taking any damage. I also had two waves of people happen at the same time? That made it hard to build more rooms and get it under control when I wasn't sure what the rooms were doing! Some tutorials might help :)
The environment art style is nice! I felt the people didn't really match the environment style though
Hi, yeah, the rooms have two functions, to damage intruders until they convert and generate resources. We have a bug when buying that doesn't show the damage of the room correctly and we just didn't notice we didn't put the damage on the rooms until it was too late. We did run out of time, but would love to go back and improve on the game. Thank you for playing the game!
El juego es muy bonito visualmente. Muy buenas torres, monstruos y puertas. :D
Very cool concept and I absolutely love the papercraft aesthetic as a Paper Mario fan. I do wish there was a quicker way to harvest materials and build rooms aside from having to drag to spin the tower and click through menus, I found it a bit cumbersome, but I enjoyed building my tower up!
Good job! I liked building the tower higher and higher. The art style of the game is also really nice. I just wish there was music ;)
Of course a "Music Muster" would notice the absence of the music XD. We just didn't integrate music soon enough and the last day I got a selection paralisys on getting music from the asset store. We have noted for future developments to put music early on, as it tends to guide gameplay feeling, helps design the rythm of the game and is hard to retro fit a song into an established gameplay.
Thank you for playing our game!!
Oh, that's a nice game! A bit difficult to start (have to watch video to understand). I would place upgrades as a separate button :)
Love the idea of the tower with ppl living there. It remembers the babel tower with no religion! At first i was lost with how to make more floors and then i couldn't stop ahah
