DAAAMN this is so clever and nicely done.

Trippy game, should have more levels to play! Nice job :)

Excellent concept and very good execution, I had a big problem though and I'm unsure if it was a bug or intended but it really messed me up, my camera kept constantly rotating without any sort of input, it made it very challenging to position myself, turn, switch axis and get onto a platform because I was changing dimensions whilst battling the camera, it causes a lot of difficulty beyond understanding the puzzle design. Other than this everything is great! I would have loved it far more if I could get through it without getting a little sick but otherwise this is absolutely fantastic!

Developer

that's weird, there is no other way to rotate the camera other than the mouse or the left/right arrow keys? can you provide a video? also thanks!

Trippy and fun! What a concept! Fantastic work exploring it.

This is a wild concept and it's absolutely destroying my brain. Is this what it'd be like like if a Flatlander traveled to the third dimension?

Developer

as far as i know, i think it does

Very neat concept, and very polished for a jam game! Moving in the second dimension was confusing, maybe having the camera switch to a top down view would be more easy to understand?

Developer

i think a top down view would be harder to design levels for, but its most definitely easier to understand

Love the concept. A bit disorienting at first but very creative that's for sure. I agree with the other review to have a more dynamic checkpoint system maybe, to make some of the levels/jumps less frustrating. Would love to see where this idea could go with more time :)

Fascinating concept! I played your game for 10-15 minutes, and while it looks unintuitive, you can actually get the hang of it pretty quickly. I didn't like the parkour/timings very much. The movement felt very clunky, and I didn't like that you cannot look up and down, especially considering some of the levels have significant verticality in them.

In the 3rd level (I think) you had to do two relatively hard jumps after each other, which made it very frustrating if you nailed the first one, but failed the second. I didn't finish the game, because the levels we're getting too challenging for me (maybe thats my incompetence though, I am getting older after all). All these things aside though, I was very impressed with this game, and the things I mentioned are more minor gripes then they are flaws. Well done!

thanks! the reason why you cant look up and down is because the transition of switching to a different dimension wouldn't look right. i also think you meant the 4th level and not the 3rd, since that level is actually not that hard. i only had 2 hours left so the last 2 levels are pretty bad.
