How does your game fit the theme?
You are a robot built to scale a mountain. The ending has another take on the theme, won't spoil it!

I really enjoyed it! The movement feels good and overall the game is very polished.
Thanks so much! I appreciate it.
really like this game! both of visual or gameplay! But unfortunately I didn't beat the game so far, because some how press the Alt button to charge will pause the game and I need to click the game window once to continue.
Thanks for playing! If you're having trouble with the controls, you can install the windows build and that should fix the problem.
`Love the game JoeyTheHorrible. Truly a masterpiece in game making. Definetly one of the better games I have played in my life time. Very enjoyable!!
Very funny that we both went with "robots that must climb" as our theme direction
We both also added a super jump to our games! A funny coincidence ;)
Great game! Hard to believe you could do all of that in such a short time. I love the take on the theme both in game and with the epic finale. Definitely one of the most end to end polished games I have played in this jam.
Thanks so much!
Nice game, I love how you unlock abilities as you go! I enjoyed this a lot!
I had an awesome time with this! Unfortunately what kills this submission is that it just straight up does not follow the theme. Besides the joke of "a robot built to scale a mountain" and the ending, nothing supports the theme of the jam. The gameplay is fun, but the theme of scale doesn't intervene at any point. You could've had this type of gameplay in any setting, not just "scaling a mountain".
A shame really, since I would actually pay money for an expanded longer version of this kind of game.
Hey yo, great game! I really like the setting, and the little robot is charming. I find the gameplay mechanics quite simple, but you've still managed to create some interesting challenges to overcome.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it.
Great game! Nice movement and sound design overall great experience!

Robo Scale is a surprise masterpiece. Its 2D platforming is some of the best and toughest since Super Mario Bros 3, with levels that are as challenging to figure out as they are satisfying to complete. Hidden throughout those levels are a wealth of secrets and collectibles, some of which push the skills it teaches you to the absolute limit, along with enough content to keep you playing for dozens of minutes. But the greatest triumph of Robo Scales is that its best-in-class jumping and thrusting is blended beautifully with an important and interesting style and an incredible soundtrack that make it a genuinely adrenaline-filled game, even when your feet are planted firmly on the ground. That said, the way Robo Scales balances itself by default is flawless. I cared deeply about the robot’s struggle and empathized with it in a way I wasn’t expecting. That emotional struggle ties beautifully into some of Robo Scale’s better platforming sequences as well, occasionally pushing the pace of the level into a frantic rush that made my heart race along with the robot - that speed and emotion being stoked by the soundtrack behind it.
I really appreciate, thank so much!
...did you use chatgpt to write this? It kinda just looks like talking a lot yet not saying anything. pretty scummy.
Great game, nice ending! its a fun game and I recommend for everyone to play to the ending to get the full picture!
Thanks so much!
Really great and diverse level and mechanic design, and I really liked how each mechanic was slowly unlocked with a fun little bit of dialogue!
For players who are also playing in microsoft edge, make sure that you do not press alt + d because that is the key combo for using the search bar.
Had a lot of issues playing in browser but I downloaded it and it worked better a lot of fun
Love the idea behind this and is a clever take on 'built to scale'
Thanks so much for playing! What kind of errors occurred? I want to update the game after the jam, so knowing would be great, thanks again!
When playing browser not all buttons registered on the box controller and some of the keyboard controls would do try open things with the browser (alt was one of them)
Thanks so much! Greatly appreciated. I tried using the new unity input system, but it doesn't seem to work too well with webGL builds, sorry.
