This is so cool, i wish i had a use for it haha

I love it! Reminds me of one of my favourite childhood games, Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts. Good use of the theme and fun gameplay, I love building vehicles I can then use in combat. Well done!

Yeah i kinda wish I didn't use so many exponential curves in the game's scaling, i ended having to put caps in and then didnt have the time to properly test them to see what the good max would be. I definitely shouldve calculated damage differently at the very least because that one is also exponentially increasing soon giving you trillions of damage for enemies capped at 1000 hp, whereas the firerate gets exponentially less and less increase. Just needed more time tbh, I put off balancing til the final few hours

yeah i capped the enemy levels during the balancing phase of development and didnt have enough time to test if it would be fine uncapped after I got it beatable in the first 5 minutes, it probably wouldnt have been because they grow exponentially and then they because so big the game inevitably breaks, I wanted to put a win indicator in but ran out of time. Submitted my game like 5 minutes before the original deadline which was at 3am in my timezone. More tougher enemies couldve been a good solution aswell I suppose. But aye, roughly half of these comments think the game is too hard and couldnt survive long to reach the 5 minutes. Just one extra day and I could've tripled the content :( Thanks for playing and leaving feedback! :))

I love space so this may be bias but I love the art in this game, the gameplay is also really fun, had me always anticipating what the next form may be, nice work!

Quite unique and pretty fun, I will say I am not the biggest fan of losing scale from shooting but it doesn't really take away from the fun, just gives us more of a challenge, not always a bad thing but it could probably use a little bit of tuning. Overall, I like what you made though, definitely one of the better top down shooters from this jam. Nice work!

The depth to these puzzles is incredible, this has got to be one of my favourite implementations of the theme so far, good job!

i adore the style of the game. ngl it took me a bit to understand how to actually climb but once i figured that out i had a lot of fun just trying to make absolutely crazy lunges across the wall. fun game, well done!

Yeah that seems to be a common problem, I can't believe I never thought to test just tap firing. Thanks for playing! :)

The movement is brutal but that makes the game engaging, and I love the idea of being able to pick and move objects to help you platform. Good job!

i like how it's almost like mini levels within bigger levels, cool concept, fun game, good job!

Yeah tbh the theme got announced at the start of one of my 3am shifts so I had like 9 hours to come up with a good implementation of the theme before I would get to start development but I wasn't able to come up with anything that interesting. So I just kept it simple and tried to heighten the quality for the other 2 categories, thanks for playing :))

Cool game and feels fairly polished, it's a bit repetitive getting to max height but aye, the game feels clean and the art is nice, good job!

Pretty cool game, beat it first try, im a big fan of space so it's right up my alley, nice work!

Is the web version broken? It's stuck on the initial wall of text?

Hell yeah, I love the combat, tbh I might come back and play more later, you guys did great, well done! :))

Highest i got was 26/48, i swear i had all the positions right but at most i would only ever get 1 position point, it has to be absolutely perfect but that feels impossible. But despite that, I had a really good time with the game and will be leaving good ratings. When i found the rum, the pirates of the caribbean fan inside of me got really excited and shouted something to do with rum, nice work!

MY 1000+ HOURS IN SEA OF THIEVES WILL MAKE THIS GAME A CAKE WALK MAWHAHHWAHAHAHAH

awesome game, love the aesthetic combined with the random event system. DRUNK MODE. fun game. it is pretty hard, especially with the fast enemies and when it gets super crowded i was really struggling to pop anything, so there is a lot of incentive to keep the numbers few, one mistake can easily spiral into chaos. It's very engaging, good job guys!

I don't usually like downloading jam games but this one looked really interesting I am definitely impressed with what I recieved. It's very relaxing and soothing gameplay, music and art come together so well, it's impossible to not love. My only critique is the game feels a bit too slow even if it's a relaxing game but tbh it's not really an issue. Love the game, nice work guys!

Yeah tbh I was having a really hard time finding fonts that worked well with the filter but never really found one so I just went with one I thought fit the aesthetic and scaled it up so it wasn't overly pixelated. Thanks for the feedback! :)

this is genuinely so awesome, love your take on the theme, well done!

I disagree with the others, I thought the movement felt good and I beat the game pretty quickly. The art is cute btw, good job!

thank you :))

I agree with everyone here, gives off portal vibes so my ratings may be a little bias since i love portal lol :))

Im gonna be honest, this game confuses the heck out of me... but it's really fun and really polished so nice work!

Felt a little jank but nothing too bad. The style and creativity is most impressive, definitely one of the more unique puzzle platformers ive played, nice work!

Yeah i mistakenly didn't consider tap firing as an option, i just held down the shoot button in my play-testing and accidental upgrades never occurred, sorry for that. Thanks for playing though :)

I like the concept, the losing noise is funny and made me smile, i do wish there was more feedback on killing an enemy, took me a while to realise that they were already dead. Cool game, nice work!

Awesome game, very engaging with trying to find all the treasures, buying more tanks and reaching quota, didn't feel bored for a moment. Nice work! :))

This genuinely a really fun game, played it all the way through and felt very satisfied. I have no critiques, good job!

Nice game, I love how you unlock abilities as you go! I enjoyed this a lot!

Well im glad you enjoyed it, thank you for giving it another try. I will have to better design all of my popup menus in future so this doesn't happened again, perhaps a short animation prompting the menu would've been a great and necessary addition ^-^

I had a good time, it was funny to break the game and do millions of damage with it infinitely increasing, I love seeing big numbers. Fun game, good job!

Yes. This one is 110% getting showcased in Mark's video. The polish is top notch. You're amazing, good job!

This is surprising hard, my wrist is tired and didnt even beat level 1, funny concept though lol, i do love silly games

First off I love the art, and this game is very simple but feels very polished, i enjoyed, good job!

Nice art, the charge attacks are fun, feels good to play, my only critique there is no noticable difficulty scaling or skill curve. But still very clean/polished and enjoyable to play for a little bit. Good job! :)

Fun game once you figure it out, can be absolutely brutal though where all your troops just get swallowed up in an instant, nice work :)

Love the art and the music, the controls feel a bit unintuitive though and were hard to get used to. Still a cool implementation of the theme, good job!
