I was a little surprised to see an options menu in a game jam game, but turns out we needed it. After swapping from cinematic, the game ran smoothly. There's some jank in many places, but I'm very much impressed by everything on display. The biggest hiccup was stopping the cursor with precision: it kept going and would blow past the stretch radius, causing a reset. I'm most impressed by the way you managed to catch problematic ant placements and reset their position without breaking flow. Cheers to the level design as well. Great job!

I like the idea of having a metroidvania where progress is gated by the size of the swarm! Unfortunately, I had  a hard time understanding the controls, and eventually, my little swarm clipped outside of the map and started flying around uncontrollably. I did also like the idea of having to split the swarm in order to go places and then rejoin them later.

I've gone back and tried again, and I made it to the end this time! The controls were frustrating. I think it would have been much better if there was no momentum to the movement (especially when building bridges) and it was easier to see the faint blue shapes that show what's actually happen. This is a matter of opinion, of course, but I think puzzle games are generally best when implementing the solution is easy after you've figured it out; I don't want to solve the puzzle and then have to deal with finicky physics-y gameplay in order to implement that solution. Still, I'm glad I gave it a second try, because I really enjoyed the level design! Well done

I thought the concept was interesting but I struggled with the controls, made a little motion sick. I think if the cursor had some more friction it might feel better.

Creative mechanics.

Very interesting concept, very ambitious! I loved the Pikmin vibe.

Unfortunately, I couldn't progress because I didn't manage to make the stretch mode work, and I kept soft-locking by having my ants go in weird places ^^'

But you're forgiven, because it's so complicated to polish this kind of concept in such a short amount of time.

Good job :-)
