How does your game fit the theme?
The game is about scaling up and down, scale is very important in puzzles and it gives you certain advantages in combat

Nice work! The roll visual feels backwards to what I'd expect based on movement, but otherwise it feels nice. I do think the enlarged piggy feels a touch too sluggish. I do hope you keep working on this! I like the idea of a pig that just grows and grows and grows but sometimes has to scale down. Lots of potential to add some puzzle mechanics for sure. GGs! :D

Developer(+1)

hi, yeah the pig rolls in the direction of your last move not the direction of your mouse, could've made it with space tbh.

I recommend adding a how to play/controls on the itch.io even though it is show in the game, I personally like to see that before hand. It would have been nice to have health bar on the enemy to know how close to death they are. Also,  I would reduce the amount of hits its take to defeat an enemy as it takes too long and I don't know how much damage I am dealing.

Cool concept, slightly undercooked. I want to see that I’m doing damage to enemies and the level design should probably allow for more movement. I’d like to see the roll button on the keyboard as the mouse is not needed to move. Congrats for your entry

Funny concept

I like the puzzles

The artstyle is inconsitent
The music is probably a bit too repetitive and lacking
Sound Effects would be nice
Some more feedback would be nice (like when you're hitting enemies)
The game feels a bit slow overall
The enemies have too much health and killing them feels a bit too repetitive
The yellow guy adds to that by killing you in one time after all that repetition

Also, little bug with the UI not having the correct anchor for me

Good game concept, need polishing though.

i do not know if im dealing dmg or not. add health bars maybe or some type of indicator of dmg. good game concept. maybe a little more polish

Developer

Yeah I was a little out of time

Fun little game! I did miss some sound effects and a better music loop

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah I may consider finding a teammate who can help me make quality music and sound later

Simple and Nice Platformer Puzzle Game.
Scale up down to proceed and you also added reasoning behind scaling is very good attention to details.
nice use of tutorial and level design .

quite buggy

Developer

is it the UI glitching on fullscreen mode?

(+1)

no, I managed to escape the walls with a roll and the roll didn't consistently defeat enemies

Developer

The roll DOESN'T defeat enemies. it deals damage to them. your damage increases the bigger you are

ok, I misunderstood then
