How does your game fit the theme?
The theme ties in to our game through the growth of the protagonist potato plant as he beats more and more waves, as well as through the growth of seeds he plants. Additionally, the usually small world of a potato has been scaled up to be played in.

There’s an impressive amount of content here! And just when I think the game is getting same-y, something new pops up to keep me engaged. You have a good sense of balance, too, like how the fry missile is really powerful but takes a long time to recharge.
Thank you, it was definitely a lot of coding for the short time frame, but I'm glad that it's done and that it worked so well for you.
Very nice game! I love the changes to the potato's face and body as they grow, much better than just increasing the size of the same sprite each time
Thank you! The visual changes both show how you become more powerful, and serve the more practical purpose of keeping a consistent pixel size.
lil potato dude is so cute and the gameplay is interesting, i like the variations and skill increase that happen throughout
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed.
These ants are no match for my starch! Fun concept, I did fall off the map once after growing a few times.
The tubers are too powerful indeed. Sorry about the glitch, a playtester ran into that bug once, and at the time I was completely bamboozled as to how they managed to just exit the map. Of course now that it's mentioned again I think I know what caused it, but oh well, it is what it is.
Can't say no to all Roguelite elements! And I love how the battle becomes harder as the potato getting bigger since it's easier to get damaged. Really enjoyed playing this ♥
Thank you very much, I'm glad you had fun playing. I'm also glad you noticed the way size increases both help and hurt, it was very much another way of playing with scale.
I had a ton of fun playing this!! Maybe suffers from the normal stat-buff issue where just putting all your points into damage maybe makes the game a bit too easy. Amazing job y'all!!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed. I could definitely see the single stat issue, although I hope it's at least slightly balanced by how easily you can die with less health. It's something to pay attention to for any future games I make in similar genres for sure.
I love the death screen, whoever made it is so good and should be awarded a gold medal.
Yeah, I'm sure it wasn't you. There must be a different Cyborg316 in the credits.
