Simple idea but very well executed. This game could be such a relaxing mobile game. Maybe some challenge each round like "score more than 40 points only with the lavender fields" or stuff like that could be a nice addition and add a better risk and reward loop.  I like it very much nonetheless. Hope to see it updated because it crashed for me on round 7 like for other people. Some sound effects could add more juice and ans I feel like an acoustic music would make it perfect. Nice entry !

WOW I'm so impressed by your game. It is so fun, fits the theme so well, is so polished : I could literally buy it as is. The tutorial is very nice, the mechanics very well introduced. the game is addictive, has a nice game loop, great art and nice music and sound design overall. 5/5

I'm sure you have more ideas on different challenge that could be implemented and I look forward to it. I also know you still need to update it : maybe the physics of the objects were sometimes annoying because of them bouncing around but I took it as a challenge to redo the exact same thing I last did but with the extra pressure of the time running out and it became even more fun. Same thing with the book : I didn't put the game in full screen mode right away so I couldn't see some part of it. But again, it made for a fun challenge just like if part of the book were ripped : I had to test out different recipe or memorize them even better to get it right. Maybe a shelf where I could organize all of my vials and potions could be nice. Also I don't know if anyone commented on this but when you click on the empty potion it generates a bunch of them. which gave me the most cheated score.

It got me interested in the other games you made ;)

Really nice game. As a very passionate board player, I could only notice and enjoy the inspirations. Seeing others people comments, I think they didn't like how wordy the tutorial was which is not recommended in video games (unlike the many pages you can get opening a brand new board game). People only want to read and go more in depth with the mechanics when they already got to see what was fun in the game. Maybe a tutorial run even if it is very hand holdy could be a nice addition : a very small map sprinkled with informations in bubbles ( just like your screenshots ) with first, the type of tiles you encounter, then with the different ressources you collect and how they affect your deck, and finally a practice run in the village to understand the card game.

But the art definitely sells it and keeps you hooked on trying out for yourself and see what happens. I wish there were sound design and music building the intensity and setting the exploration mood even better. Keep it going !!

Lovely game ! I really enjoyed all of the storytelling, the plot twits and the number of mini games you managed to put in there !! If I had to nitpick : the digging mini game was a bit tedious because of how slow the shovel's animation is. And I didn't see the text left by grandma on the shopping list right away because it's so washed out and the contrast with the background color isn't great. But I played a second time just to get to read it. Had a lot of fun !

Very cute game, LOVELY art.

I had a few bugs with the collision at the edges. With a title like "Run cheese run", I thought I was in for an intense game and chases but I was surprised how cosy it is.  You wrote in the description that there were pursuing forks but mine weren't moving. Maybe it didn't work or you didn't had time to implement it but it would suit better for sure. I would also love to have more connection between your cheese/pizza theme and the zoomed out mini-maps. Perhaps if they were in a triangular shape and you had to place them in circles it would feel better ?  With a cheesy sound effect when you place it down instead of the paper feel.

Quite enjoyable nonetheless.

Very nice game !! I quite enjoyed it ! The different mechanics were really nice and you nailed the difficulty curve ! The challenge mode is a very nice addition and sure is challenging !

If I can change anything, I would have loved the art to feel more coherent between every asset. It was still very cute but I would have enjoyed it even more if there were a specific style all throughout the game. And also if the character could feel more lively. Both the ladder and the character are very stiff, it would add so much charm and personality if you could improve on that. The sound design and music are on point.

At the end  I would also love to the see the full tower : maybe with a zoom out or just a scroll through to enjoy how catastrophic it was. Could pair nicely with the text at the end.

It's a cute idea with cute designs and nice take on the theme  but it didn't feel engaging enough for me. You said that the chef attacked automatically, maybe it would feel better to be the one initiating the actions even if it's just smashing a button. I mean we are in a life or death situation : I wanna play with this intensity ! Nicely done nonetheless

I can only imagine how big your ambitions and the struggle were. When Mark announced the 4 days to take better of each self during the jam, I knew people would only suffer longer. I had fun trying different builds with what was available. Especially with the rockets and the creeper in the load menu. Flying around like this got me thinking that it could be a nice multiplayer. Going full speed at each other and maybe shoot them ??

Also, I really enjoyed your sense of humour in the description. I'm sure you could write funny sarcastic dialogues in your games. Your game reminded me of Piku Niku with the style and the weird movements, it only lacks the charm and the absurdity of the story and characters.  Hope you won't get stuck in your ideas next jam, roll with what you are actually making and try to embrace everything you do unintentionally.  Keep it up ! :)

It  looked like you had a nice idea but I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to do and couldn't get a hold of the controls. From what I tried we can use WASD or arrow keys to move, space bar to jump but not high enough except if we are next to wall then we can levitate but it doesn't feel intentional since I fell out of the platform or got stuck in the air. Q to use the potion and E in front of the mirror to transform back to Jekyll. Can you add more informations please ? The menu, the art and the music looked all really great just missing the instructions to get to the fun.

Nice loop. I enjoyed the idea, and the music slowing down each level didn't went unnoticed. I love little details like that. Could benefit more charming art, why not lean into the fractals theme with some interesting geometry ? Also like someone else said, the small working green jumping pad is definitely a cool bug that could lead to more intricate puzzles if well introduced.

Very good  introductions of new mechanics and difficulty cure. But I got stuck at level 11 : I think it is missing pink crystals. Nice polished game nonetheless.

Very good job !! I couldn't understand the controls at first but I was so excited with the music, the idea and the art that I persisted and tried every key so allow me to add instructions here :

When you are the little helper use arrow keys or wasd and space bar to move around. Left click with the mouse to destroy the stuck bullet. Put a bullet in the barrel and then use E and A or D to move the wheel to engage the bullet. E again to shoot on the bang button.

It was so fun when I got it. The game is so charming and the level design great. Hope you can polish it with a game over/retry menu, tutorial, and other levels with other guns in the future.

Cute design and idea.  It would great if the restrictions like the non-expandable size of the factory and the spawner's block locations were explained by background art. If you give it more time to add music, sound design, more type of tiles for different recipes and customers coming and leaving, it could become a very charming game. And I think the controls would be easier if we could just select the type of tile with a left click and then place it.

Good job ! As you said it doesn't suit the theme the best, but I really enjoy the story, the art, the sound design and the music was well chosen. I would love the gameplay to be extended and a bit more engaging at all parts of the story. For example : have more actions to pick the gold like digging for it,  have to scale the gold yourself with an antique balance and have choices to fight or flee battles. And finally I would have love to be able to differentiate the main character from others characters in big battles. Cause I really want to save my lovely Louis first, and then think about the others.

The art, sound design/music are lovely !! I also really enjoyed how it scaled up : the gasgiants being first landscape than you can go through and then collectables. And how the orbit that affects you, change depending on your size. I just wish it'd feel better to play. Maybe easier to move around and swing around the bigger astral object to gain momentum.
