I enjoyed the puzzles but the movement is kinda slippery and it lacks more effects to spice up the game. Great job!

I can definitely see the direction you were going with this. I love the concept of solving puzzles.

I have a few notes.

1. The crosshair could've been a simple + or - to help know what firing mode I was in.

2. The game feel is a bit lacking.

3. A simple background music and good sound would've elevated the game a lot.

Anyway, it was really nice trying it. Well done!

I like that crosshair idea, it's simple but clever. I definitely need more detail to elevate the experience, but I'm glad it sounds like the core mechanics for puzzle solving is fun. Thanks for checking my game out!

Really liked your concept and level-design was fun,  but movement was a janky and some of the mechanics don't feel too polished.

Anyways I can see progress from your last game so hope my feedback will be helpful good luck on the next jams!

unlike others i'm a big fan of the machine gun but i just can't help thinking of green meaning grow and red meaning shrink instead of vice versa

otherwise great work! :)

You're right. Swapping the reticle colors honestly makes more sense. Glad you liked it!

Oh man, I'm the first one giving feedback^^

First things first, I'm absolutely no shooter player and very bad at 3D jump n runs...so I suck at your game^^
Pretty solid approach to the topic, but imho using magic instead of a machine gun would be better fitting. Good thing is you start with a tutorial, so it was very easy to figure out what to do, right from the beginning.

Edit: Second to give feedback, had the page open for too long and realized after the post

Since you don't have much experience with shooters, I want to ask if you found the challenge fair or unfair. I play a lot of Destiny so 1st person platforming is very natural to me, but I definitely want a game like this to be approachable for all skill levels.

Ok so, first off this is a rather unique way of interpreting the theme creating a rather fun game, but there are a few things that I would change such as the art style and fixing purple blocks as they kinda made me no-clip out of the map but anyways, Good Job! I would like to see this game being further developed.
