How does your game fit the theme?
The core gameplay idea was to have a very small player fighting very big monsters. This was lead up to and culminates in the massive boss found in level 4. Blueberry theming added afterwards.

Grapping was a lot of fun and didn't feel glitchy or buggy at all (which is impressive for a game jam). It would be cool if there was some feedback when you lose HP in the clouds, but thats a pretty small thing to add. Nice game

I enjoyed the mechanics and overall gameplay. Grappling was neat and intuitive. I wish the player had more visual feedback so I knew if i could wall jump and stuff.

This could become a really fun version of Getting Over It with shooter elements. Good job!

I love the blueberry character! What a fun guy. To me, this is basically the lovechild of csgo x getting over it. I loved hearing the gunshots, it makes it so epic! I felt really cool playing as the blueberry, dodging the enemies with my grappling hook :DD Great game!

i haven't seen too many grappling games this year but yours was really executed well. Good job.

Very cool grapple, physics based controls. I wasn't great at it, but I could still move around, and imagine someone with more skills could move around the map super fast and in cool ways.

Developer

Thanks! I wonder if there's a way I could lessen the curve of getting good at the movement?

Very fun! So cool to grapple around and throw myself. The explosion was satisfying even if I wasn't good at using it 😂

Glad you liked it! And I think it takes some practice - if I were to expand this I would add some helpful aiming UI. Just a simple line would go a long way I think!

Just a heads up, two known bugs - I ended up with the wrong version of the script that manages the worm segments, so they seperate a whole lot more than they should be able to when the worms are at top speed. And level 4 can not be accessed from the level menu, only by beating level 3 (which is a shame, because I think the giant worm is fun)

Love grapple mechanics; blueberry theming is on point. Solid work!
