you are awesome

very cool, i dig the simplicity

sweet stuff, a little hard for me, but i did beat it once 💪

Thanks for catching that, we will try to fix 🙏

This is a great demo / slice. I can easily picture this as the main mechanic of a story based game. Great art!

Very sill 👍

yeah 😅 we uploaded the file about 20ish minutes late and they locked the uploads. but thanks for clicking on it and checking it out anyways

super cute, love the whole setup

Epic cozy adventure!

Epic cozy adventure!

Very chill and cozy!!

Very cool, and chill.  I'd like to order a bigger barrel for next fall

We're basically twins! So cool to see a unique take on a similar phrase or reversal. I like how the game is full Ai and we get to (almost like sims) mess around and manipulate things! Cool Jam entry

I laughed so hard when my owner face planted, I don't think he was ready for how many cats I wanted to bark at. Great Jam Game!

Thank you so much for your kind word!! Means a lot, and I completely agree it would be helpful to pick up tracks after placing! I built a number of weird and broken race tracks 😅

Your rock! Thanks so much for playing and trying our entry. It's far from polished, but means a lot what you said 💕I also love the idea of an auto-gen track

Thank you so much for your time playing and giving feedback, it's really nice of you!!

Thanks so much for playing and reviewing. I'm glad you liked the art, and I get what you mean about the tutorial and UI issues. I'll try to release an update that fleshes out the experience more!

I appreciate the compliment about the art! I also hear you about the lack of "metroidvania" vibes and I hope with another design pass those areas can shine more clearly. Thanks for letting me know about the upgrade tooltip, I think there's something I didn't expect with WebGL resolution 16:9 versus unity resolution 16:9 but I'm excited to patch that up.

Thanks again!

Thank you for playing and giving feedback! I totally get what you mean about the confusing experience, but it means a lot that you were able to pick up what I was heading for. I'm planning to take everything I've made and take a polish pass at design, experience, and flow/progression. Thanks again!!

Thank you so much for playing and sharing your experience. I hear you!

It's currently more like if a slice of a Metroid style game was squished with all the unlocks easily obtainable. Ideally, a more full experience would include a bigger world, and these systems / mechanics being unlocked and challenged throughout that world. That being said, I get that RIGHT NOW... it's a little unclear 😂, and I appreciate you trying it anyways. I'll start thinking about how I can add more interesting enemies / encounters

Super fun and cute idea, I couldn't figure out how to refuel or sell my fishies, but I still had so much fun every restart trying to see how I could maximize my fuel to catch as  many fish I could get. Great Entry!

Thank you so much for your time playing and giving feedback, it's really kind what you say and I agree with the feedback about how confusing the design is. I'm really excited to do a rework and make it a more full experience and if it's okay I'll reach back when I think I have it to get your thoughts once more ♥

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the feedback and your time playing

very cool! a little tough for me, but still interesting

Cool project! It really feels like a metroidvania. I would love if there were some epic or strange powers or environment objects to play with

I'm IsThatYouNoah, and this is my favorite game in the jam!

Very unique and cute. I love it, different and I'm so happy you shared this for the jam.

epic battle to the death

Cool idea! I'm not good at these intense moments especially with how quick it's thrown at us, but I really like what you have!

Really cool, but for some reason the controls wouldn't work other than clicking but i bet there's a full experience waiting for me

Super simple and clear! I got stuck a little but this was fun and interesting. nice work!

I like this idea, it inspires me to think about a more DND style metroidvania. cool submission!

For a game jam, this is top tier. I'm sure with more time, the art and experience could offer more challenges and opportunities, but for a game jam, this was fun,  well-tuned, and tested!

Very polished entry! I liked how finished the art, animations, controls, and experiences were. I would love to feel some bigger sense of world / journey that feels like it ties it all together, but overall very cool!

I'm not good at metroidvanias, so I got lost and never solved anything, but I really like how the world is connected and the style you were going for. Gave some undertale vibes and I could see this being a full game someday

Same, no access to play 😭
