How does your game fit the theme?
The player is required to manage two different scales of gameplay simultaneously. With both scales having core gameplay effects on the other. On one side, you pilot a massive spaceship, dodging asteroids and drones until the shields are online and you can go on the offensive. On the other you control an engineer inside of that very same ship, frantically running around repairing computers to bring the shields online!

A very interesting interpretation of the theme, the art and music was enjoyable as it really gave a space game vibe. I was stuck on level 1 as I pressed the W key and the ship kept moving while I controlled the engineer, might be a skill issue but it was a bit frustrating being stuck on a level. Overall a nice game, do consider checking out our submission!

Sorry to hear the control scheme led to frustration :(
The ship is supposed to keep moving under its own momentum. W is more like increasing the throttle level and leaving it there. Doesn't mean that was the right decision though. I can see why it'd be better to have more control over the ship!
Great concept! There is good potential here and you could do a lot with it!
Thank you so much for the kind words!
Bussin!
I loved the fact it has voice acting and the style of the game. Main feedback is the turning circle of the ship makes it very hard to actually hit the drones in the time you have before the shields go down again.
Good work!
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you liked the voice acting. We recorded it at 2am the night before submission as a very last-minute suggestion.
Agreed on the turn speed. We tried a higher setting and it made the ship feel soooooo much more nimble and controllable.
Heads up, your exe build isn't marked properly so I can't download it through the itch app.
Thank you so much for letting me know! I never would have caught that.
Incredibly stylish presentation over a promising central hook. A greater variety of gameplay and voice recordings would have improved the game, but such is the nature of Game Jams.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the presentation and general concept :) Next time we'll make sure we have more to offer in the fun department!
Very cool idea! I love the double mission, really my type of game! Just passing through doors was hard XD
Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it :D
