I like how as the sheep got bigger it got harder to get the food to its mouth. Grow my sheep grow!

Developer

I agree! it’s very satisfying we’re pretty proud to have come up with that hehe

thank you for the comment!

Oh man I felt so bad for stealing peoples food but it was for great science I say!!!

Developer

yeah who left a whole raw chicken on the floor?

Super cool game!
It was a bit hard checking the book every time for the recipes, but other than that it was a lot of fun :)

Developer

That’s a good point! thank you for the comment!

So creative and fun, awesome submission

Developer

Hey thank you!

I really like the take on the theme, I do feel super bad about killing this poor sheep lol

Developer

When you got to eat you know...
We thought about letting the players name the sheep... we are awful people XD

Thank you for the comment!

Nice theme.  Might be worth simplifying it around just catching and feeding.  I couldn't really figure out how to use all the other stuff.

Developer

Yeah it's a recurring theme XD
Thank you for your comment!

Cool concept, once I figured out the recipes it clicked a lot more, having to arc my throw to get the food to the sheep was a fun mechanic!

Hey thank you for your comment!

Wonderful game, had such a pleasant time and I might be wrong but once I got the hang of it, I believe I've achieved the world record of this game with a final score of 12 706 kg. If anyone beats me write thy score under mine!

Developer(+1)

Wo that's amazing!
I wonder if someone could beat it XD

Incredibly fun concept and well done! I had to look at the comments to figure out you could scroll to see the rest of the recipes, but had so much fun running around to cook both before and after! I think for UI the scroll was a bit slow to keep referencing instead of flipping the page but trying to keep all the recipes in my head definitely added to the chaos! The sheep getting so big that you have to build up to keep feeding it is such a good idea, had me scrambling to get up and chuck food at it! I laughed so much playing :D

Developer

Thx so much for your nice words!
I agree, flipping the page would've been better!
We just lacked some time :(

Funny concept! I didn't know the recipes at the start and I was a bit clueless on how to feed the poor animal. Once, I understood you can scroll the pause menu, I had fun trying all the items. Good game!

At the end, the sheep was so big I could feel a gravitational field forming and starting to attract me!!

Developer(+1)

Thx for the review!
Yeah the learning is a bit steep right now, its a recurring comment XD

Gravitational pull once the sheep gets to big... hmmmmm ....

First playthrough was awkward, but then i found the recipes on the menu and how stations worked and got into it, until I springed myself out of the box. Great idea for the theme, maybe could benefit from less mechanics!

Developer(+1)

My friend and I are quite opposite on that, Deraju likes to keep it simple and I like to push it, a bit to much some times...
So what you see is actually restrain XD
I do agree that in the context of a game jam, less is more
Good thing to think about, thx for your comment!

I liked the concept! Difficult to get a hang of it at first, I agree with the others that possibly an incremental tutorial would work well. But overall it was fun!

Developer

Thx for your comment!

It's silly and fun, I like it! I managed to use the cauldron only with the tutorial. For the house I had to read the comments and learn about the pause menu with space. But I never figured out how the furnace works, the pause menu only shows the house recipes. The pacing could be improved, maybe introduce those crafting stations one after the other by  throwing wool at a salesman or something^^
But overall nice job!

Developer(+1)

Yes showing each crafting station one at a time was something we discussed but it was to late :p
I think it could've been on the UI that you can pause to get the recipes.
Also, indicate in the menu that you can scroll down... our bad XD

Thx for your comment!

Interesting game. I liked to feed the sheep and see it get huge. It had quite a lot of mechanics that made it somewhat complicated. This could be fun if it's shown to the player in steps. Currently it's quite chaotic though.

Developer(+1)

Yeah, an incremental tutorial or a way to back to it would be good. Thx for your comment!

The game has a great concept, and seems to have a lot of depth!
However, the tutorial was just a tad bit too big, and I for the love of god couldn't remember the entire thing
I just repeatedly fed the sheep the raw ingredients... Maybe there could be an option to open the tutorial back up once you have entered the game?

Developer

you can press enter to pause the game in order to see the recipes!

thanks for the comment

very cool game! it's a bit hard to throw food to the sheep when it gets really big, but it adds to the charm. nice work!

Developer

I don’t know if it helps but you can build platforms to reach it’s head when it’s too high!

thanks for the comment!

I really like what I'm seeing here but I can not for the life of me figure out how to use the first crafting table looking thingy... All I can do is cook chicken lol. Really fun take on the theme, maybe I'll figure out the rest of it one day :)

Developer

Hey thanks! when you have the right ingredients on the table, you can use E to activate it. All recipes are in the menu if you’re unsure (accessed using enter)
