Thank you for playing! Yeah we didn’t realize how laggy it’d be in the browser and in retrospect I think I know a few places we could have tinkered.

Thanks for trying the non-browser version!

Originally and only until close to the end, the robots did have names!

A future iteration we’d definitely want names so you can have a mini rivalry seeing the same name coming back every round :)

It was specifically BG's rotation controls! Also somewhat the placement depth was hard to tune quite right.

Super cute, I love the character and the art.

Very clever puzzles, thank you!

Lovely idea. This could be a great 2 player game.

I struggled a bit with the control but had fun playing through some levels!

I was interested in where the story was going unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to get past the computer problem. I figured the code was the order of the colors but didn't know where to input the numbers.

  • The end of puzzle music bit is great
  • Why does the block look sad when it's large?

When I died outside of the main screen, the game didn't restart like the prior time. Fun dialogue!

Cool aesthetics but I couldn't get the controls to work

Cute and enjoyable! Would love to have more options - great jam!

I had fun playing! Took myself a second to understand quite what was going on but figured out quick. Although that didn't stop the CPU from beating me around one.

I had fun! I was a little confused about the creating my own worries until I played through an example round myself. Thanks!

I couldn't quite get past 40% unfortunately!

I had a lot of fun playing this! I played it for a bit after I saw the giant crab!

Would love to see the health of the individual cells but otherwise I love scaling vampire survivors

I really enjoyed this - the music and everything was so cute. I loved the baby clouds that would spawn off of the main character!

Thank you for playing!

And  we definitely felt some animation was missing there! And thanks too, we originally planned to have multiple bots with multiple upgrade paths / abilities. But some of that had to be shoved for later :')

Thanks for playing!

We were really happy when we landed on this when we were initially brainstorming about the Jam theme. Something with an unforgivable singular mistake that would still not be an immediate "you lose!" situation.

Really enjoyable concept. I could imagine a streamer and their despair when taking a horrible fall in the game.

Super fun concept, a lot of fun abilities given to the player. I think slowing down the game a little bit and focusing on a few abilities would be good too.

I found myself double jumping and dashing as much as possible to try to overcome anything which ended up beating the game which was nice.

I didn't necessarily understand what was going on in the 2nd boss fight but the first one was awesome and clear and fun!

Super fun and would be curious to see this get fleshed out more with levels, enemies and bosses. I loved the art, music, and atmosphere already.

I had issues with the execute (as mentioned in your description) that I wish I could have been using more through the run!

Fun game! Super arcadey. With more work on it (maybe more stuff the player can do) I could easily see this being something fun to turn to on my phone!

I really enjoyed this game. If it had music it would be A+.

I enjoyed the dance you have to do with enemies between attacking and dodging in and out of their range. And reflecting projectiles back to the big orbs.

Negatives were that the shield was too inconsistent to actually rely on.

Simple, repeatable and enjoyable. Love the music and sound effects.

If there were some way to forecast the hazards more so that there was a little bit more time for me to react I'd love it. As is still great though!

Sound effects, music, and atmospher were great!

I think the level layout was a bit confusing at times and respawning sometimes left me wondering exactly where I was.

The second zone was trippy but unfortunately my browser crashed at somepoint in that sequence. I feel like a map would help provided more time to work on the game and some improved platforming game-feel.

Cool! A fun game to play!

I didn't understand that the barrel was the fuel at first and sometimes the time was a big crunch to make it to the next ring. But it was possible! Maybe a scaling difficulty so it's easier to begin and harder at The End would be good.

I really like the idea - reminds me of something like Vampire Survivors.

I wish the magic automatically fired since I'm justholding down the shift key anyways. I like how this changes the formula so that it's platforming around the obstacles "eyes".

I got stuck with the shooter eyes not properly coming into frame. I would love to see how stacking effects changed the magic!

It definitely didn't take 22 minutes! I was like WOAH when I saw that reported at The End lol

I really like the theme and the Body Count to solve a level!

For me the spikes didn't work and sometimes the way bodies would despawn would be unexpected.

Fun idea! Reminds me of the series Shantae where the main character can have different transform powers.

I thought it was fun!

Unless there's an end that I didn't make it to, I didn't realize it was just score chasing initially!

I enjoyed the obstacles though sometimes felt like I'd get hit occasionally when I thought I shouldn't have been.

I'm not sure how you can go faster/slower but here's my times too!

I had fun playing the game. Even despite losing I wanted to retry and go again. In the first level I was confused if there was anything I could do while the text was playing. But I really enjoyed the second level.

If this weren't a late submission - or otherwise looking to build more - adding more juice would be great.

Have the player be doing cool abilities/animations instead of just running past Black Gates. MUSIC! Have the inputs EXPLODE after you successfully input them. Make the player feel like they're running faster. Etc.

I think this was good fun and needs more time in the oven to be great :)

Loved the audio, the voiceovers were unexpected and fantastic. I was laughing at the zaniness of the story, so funny.

I appreciated that slamming the Z key would speed up the dialogue boxes so replays were quicker!

Fits the theme well and easy to understand controls!

For whatever reason when I first got started, I didn't understand I could only hop on blocks but took a minute to realize the furniture wasn't an option.

I think the game might benefit from shorter individual levels as restarting from the beginning after working carefully for minutes of progress to be reset was a little frustrating.

Super fun dialogue. I was laughing through my play through. Fits the theme well and felt like a complete product!

I feel like if there were to be changes, it'd be adding additional art for the different settings and characters. But as is for the jam is great!
