The game is absolutely fantastic! The 3D graphics are stunning, bringing the world to life in such a vibrant way. The attention to detail in the environments and character designs is impressive, making the gameplay feel immersive and engaging.

Fun game! I liked how fluid the movement was. I felt free to run around, grab stuff on the fly, dodge and aim the turret on the way back, and grow!

Cool idea but the game ended way too quick for me lol, an endless mode would have probably been better (although I see now that another review also suggested the same thing lmfao)

Developer(+1)

Yeah, we just accomplished what we could during the jam time, despite the ambitious ideas we wanted to add. We're glad you liked the idea though!

cool game! I beat it pretty quick, so I would love to see an endless mode!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! I cranked down the turret level you need to get but I had intended to have it go a little longer. Endless mode is a great idea though!

I think this is the most creative take on the theme I've seen thus far and I feel like the level of challenge and time to complete were perfect for a game jam. It's always more satisfying when you get to win, great job!

Developer(+1)

Wow thanks a ton, that means a lot that you liked our take on the jam theme! Glad you enjoyed it and congrats on the win!

Running for resources while avoiding the kittens and also trying to kite them into the bullets of the turret is a super fun gameplay loop! I also loved how I got bigger every time I collected another health point!

Developer

Thank you, I wish we had enough time to add even more to the loop but I'm still happy with what we accomplished. Appreciate the kind words and we're glad you had a good time!

very interesting idea.  I  loved the combined gameplay of having the turret to fall back on when being chased!

Developer

Thank you! A core idea for the game was that the player isn't what deals damage and that the bullets come from somewhere else. The player should feel less safe while exploring than when they are closer to the base. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to flesh out the turret to be a little more interesting but we're glad you enjoyed it!

Super fun! Honestly it was super hard to get the turret to hit the enemies. I wish it like auto targeted them or something. Otherwise I had a good time with it - great work! :D

Developer(+1)

For the sake of the demo, the turret doesn't have to upgrade much so you never see its stats become anything crazy. A stretch goal was that we wanted to build on the turret to have new abilities and homing bullets would have been a fantastic addition, great idea! Thank you for playing, we appreciate your feedback and are so glad you enjoyed it!

Pretty nice take on the theme! smooth gameplay. A bit of a learning curve but overall fun game! I dominanted the world! Or at least I pawned those space kittens!

Developer

Ahaha, the space kittens are a leftover asset from a game I had made for a class but I love how random they felt since I didn't have the time to create a more logical enemy sprite. Thank you for your kind words, I'm glad you were able to conquer the learning curve and have a good time with our game :D
