Ok, I think having a full screen experience or a window that lock the mouse in would make the game more playable.  I had problems doing things since the mouse was clicking everything else...  Godd concept though and wold work great as a mobile game!

Played for today's livestream!!

Good game :-)

I like the idea and the theme.

The issue I had is very specific to the web version: my mouse kept leaving the game window. Hence, it was difficult to quickly grab and drag enemies, especially in the later stages where you have to be reactive.

Anyway, good job!

A fun grab-em-up. Encountered a small bug during the civilization phase where the helicopters seem to lock in on the tendril's location on the horizontal axis and begin rapidly oscillating between left and right orientation. Think it'd be fun to be able to nab everything along the tendril as well. The sound effects were funny, and the music was certainly pleasant as well.

This was a really creative idea of the tentacle being the player and dragging enemies to you. gives a fun risk over reward gameplay loop that was really satisfying to get down. Though once I got to the space section the UFO's were really oppressive to the point that there was a laser hail Mary of bullets so any progress I could make was undone, Might've been an oversight, idk, but regardless it was a great idea with mostly great execution.

Fun idea. Seems like it would work really well as a mobile game.

got hit in the space level and the ufos kept their height but wouldn't deactivate so i got soft-locked since they kept shooting from off screen and i couldnt get them :(.

Looks like we had the same take on the theme!
I found the controls to be a bit finicky. The mouse sensitivity could have been set a bit higher.

Cute game! Simple, but a good time. Progression was a bit slow for my liking, but understandable given there likely wasn't a ton of time for playtesting.
