How does your game fit the theme?
"Atomic Scale" aligns perfectly with the "Built to Scale" theme by highlighting the incredible contrast between the microscopic scale of atoms and the immense destruction they can unleash. In the game, you start with a small number of atoms—tiny, almost insignificant on their own. However, when strategically placed on a grid, these atoms trigger chain reactions that grow exponentially, leading to massive explosions that can decimate entire cities. This scaling process mirrors the real-world concept of atomic power, where something as minuscule as an atom can cause unparalleled devastation when unleashed. The game allows you to experience this scaling firsthand as you build up your bomb’s power, turning microscopic particles into a force capable of reshaping the landscape on a grand scale. By earning Kill Points and enhancing the number of atoms in your bomb, you’re not just increasing the scale of destruction, but also demonstrating how something small and seemingly insignificant can be "built to scale" into something monumental. This duality—starting from the microscopic and leading to macro-level devastation—encapsulates the theme in both a literal and metaphorical sense.

Well done ! Couldn't find a way to control where the missile crashes, but it was fun enough to wreck havoc even when no one is around

Hehe, if the missile falls randomly anywhere on the map, thank you very much for playing my game, I hope you enjoyed destroying the city 7u7

The graphics and general presentation were gorgeous! Especially the variation in time, and how the little guys are moving around.
I did get a little lost on what I was supposed to be doing/how to do it. My suggestion would be a short tutorial level, just to help the player understand diegetically.

Would be very grateful if you tried our game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, I may make a cleaner, more optimized version with it. UwU
