I like the idea of the game. Having different abilities and being small/big affecting gameplay is fun. Adding some music and sound effects would enhance the game. Anyway, the art is good and the goal of the game is clear. The controls are also adequate. Good job!

Very nice pixel art, but the gameplay feels pretty rough. Wish the cooldowns on actions weren’t so long (especially on the reflect move) or were at least shown on the screen. Godot’s built-in progress bar nodes could probably be helpful for such things. The boss’s projectile move was nice, giving you a gap to dodge through, but its rushing and jumping attacks seemed too often undodgeable. It was, in fact, EZ for him to kill me every time…

Again, though, very nice pixel art. (I didn’t recognize Suika in the thumbnail, having only seen her a few times in some fangames, but when I saw the title screen I was like “No way…”) And the size switching mechanic seems cool too, especially with each size having a different ability. Execution just needs some polish.

Didn’t expect to see another Touhou related game in the jam! I made one as well, ha.

Thanks for playing our game.The boss is a bit unfair especially the jump and then mid air stop.We did plan for a cooldown bar for the deflect but was too late.The sprites did they take longer than I expected to be made.

A little bit too many controls, they should be introduced slowly, also real jumpscare to put boss first. Nice try for 48 hours!

I really liked the pixel art! The mechanics were interesting, I'm not sure if I found that much value to staying big (versus just staying small for ranged attacks + healing), but I can see if more enemies or levels were added there could be different situations that the larger form would be useful. Nice work!

Thanks for trying our game!We did plan a boss rush but we didn't have the time.There should've been a third form in wich you were a giant and an attack with a giant bottle as special ability in medium form(the larger one).Next time we'll do a better job.

This was HARD! deflect mechanic was honestly a lifesaver. the pixel art is really well drawn, a part of me wishes it was a bit more snappy to reflect the time it takes to use the abilitly though. Very fun overall!

I really enjoyed this! Once I'd gotten a hand of the controls it was really fun! That deflect mechanic was a nice touch and i love the art!
