very effective use of the theme, definitely felt the scaling up and scaling down as core concepts
good work!
Effective use of the theme!
Like nabladeveloper, I was also stuck at the elevator section until i read the description below the game mentioning the Enter key to interact with objects. As the game did a really good job teaching me controls within the game, I did not think to look elsewhere for more controls. A small suggestion that I think would fix this issue is including the Enter to Interact hint on the sign next to the elevator that mentions elevators having a size limit.
Also, by scaling myself to the smallest size and running into the wall to the right of the elevator, I somehow managed to go through the wall and fell into the world.
Overall, a solid concept that fits the theme well, and effectively teaches the mechanics to the player in an organic way.
Clipping into walls when scaling up or down was a known issue but I never really found a way to make it work well. Thanks for the feedback!
Pretty good! I really enjoyed all the different ways scaling up and scaling down was used to solve puzzles.
I did run into quite a few bugs early on when I tried to collect the little measurement pieces. The elevator would not work no matter my scale, and I was able to scale up inside the small tunnel which causes my character to rapidly die and return to the start of the level.
Outside of the bugs this was great! I could see this mechanic making for a really fun platformer.
Thanks for the feedback, I also ran into a bunch of problems with clipping into the colliders because of scaling up. Could you explain how the ruler pieces and the elevator bugs happened? I never found anything wrong with it, could be a problem witht he html build.
