I liked that fact this game follows more the perspective of the snake. I don't think I ever played a snake game like this, and I enjoyed it. Pretty moody game, but I guess if mostly because of the great music in the background. Also, dashing was super satisfying. I was a tad bit confused by the health system, I couldn't figure out what the colored squares meant on the snake (they were not part of the snake, just floating around it's head). Seemingly eating apples did not grow the snake, so maybe I have missed something. Regardless, cool game, congrats!

thank you for your feedback!

The colors indicate what health each tail piece is on, once it reaches red. It gets destroyed. And the apple only regenerates health, doesn't make the snake longer. As I thought having a longer tail would make the game less fun as the Dash Cool down is relative to it

Art style and music is top notch, the idea is good although maybe not super on-theme. Navigation was... challenging, lack of a map made it hard to know where you're going and it's easy to get stuck in a tight spot and hit the walls over and over again. After each death it says that I've reached a certain floor but then I respawn on the same floor and I remain small? Feels like something isn't properly reset after each run?

There's clearly a good game in here but it feels like the dev ran out of time.

omg I just realized that I forgot to reset each variable. Thank you for your feedback!

Very fun game with simple mechanics. I really liked the art style and the music was good too.

Very cool, it's fun and juciy tto fight in this game and the game looks pretty nice in general. would like a bigger FOV tho, I had no idea were I were going

Developer

yea for some reason itch.io made the FOV smaller, and it refused to decompress with the minimap so i had to cut some features in the last minute
