How does your game fit the theme?
You are placing pieces, but each turn whatever was built, will be a piece that you need to place. This means you need to build in such a way to be able to scale.

Very creative idea, and a great way to make you anticipate the next turn. Doesn't need much to be turned into an amazing full-time game.
a creative idea! It feels very fractal in a way. I empathize so hard with wanting to have mechanics that lead to some grander vision and not being able to fully address the consequences of those within the jam period. It's just a process to put those ideas into the world and interact with them in a less abstract space. Well done!
I loved the concept of this. I think some pieces don't rotate how I wanted, but everything else was perfect. Really good entry!
Great concept! The rotating can use a bit more improvement. But I love how the pieces turn as well as you move the whole box.
Neat concept for a game! I think it's a little frustrating to rotate the pieces sometimes where the pieces don't rotate the way I clicked depending on the angle I'm looking, and the game stopped working on turn 7 (everything disappeared), but it's definitely a cool arcade game
:>
Hey, thanks for the feedback 😊. I do agree that the UX could have been better. I was contemplating using the camera angle when figuring out the axis of rotation. I decided to just use the axis on which you click, since I thought depending on the camera view might not be intuitive.
I saw the disappearing issue too, but only once, so I couldn't figure it out why it was happening. I'm just guessing that the corners I cut to render the pieces was too much for Godot to handle.
