Super addicting system, should absolutely be put into a full game
Very creative take on the Jam's theme. Fun game
This was pretty sick, I didn't feel like the randomness of the dice screwed me over as much as it could've, and I felt like I always had a move I could make. Good game!
Add multiplayer and you'll have a good product)
Very solid concept, definitely can be expanded to something even better.
Good job on your game!
Solid combat system, I enjoyed it. The AI seemed to struggle with movement, but other than that I could see this as an excellent combat system for a larger game.
Great idea and visuals. Combat against AI is fun.
Remark: It looks like the game incentivizes putting points into other things than movement, because you're making yourself a better target and wasting a circle. This could lead to a scenario, where 2 players are not moving the whole game (especially in PvP).
it's funny because other players told me the opposite, that movement was really overpowered! I think it comes from the randomness of the AI. I have other mechanics planned that can make the moving action more interesting, like weapons with different range. Right now I feel like moving is still a good option, as it forces the opponent to come closer, making them waste dice in movement and giving you an opportunity to strike when they come to you.
Thanks for your comment, I'm happy you enjoyed my game!
I kike how the game is simple and the SFX gave some spice to the gameplay. There is no need for recommended changes, but if it was made better, it would be a really good game! I LIKED IT!
BEST OF LUCK :)
P.S. Check out our game too. We would appreciate it if you do!
I love the simple aesthetic, and the sounds work very well!
I admit that I only skimmed the explanation in the description - but it took me a long time to understand how I knew if I was hitting the other guy or if he was hitting me. Perhaps that could be made a bit more clear using a blood splatter, hit marker or some other indicator
Hi Loki, I totally agree with you. I think I'll also add a little animation on the cross in the wounds section when they appear, and maybe another one to show that one of your dice becomes red. Did you realize that getting hit would change one die?
Thanks for the feedback!
That sounds great :) Yeah those 2 things did eventually click at the same time:
- the X's below the blood drops are hits that i've taken
- I'm losing some dice because of the hits i've taken
No worries!
Really satisfying combat system
Good job!
Thanks!
Nice combat system! Simple yet engaging.
Thanks for playing!
