Nice game! Would be cool if you better indicate what each potion do and a minimap would be handy
thank you for playing! if i find the time to flesh this game out, those are things that i will definitely consider, especially a much clearer indicator for the effects of each potion. glad you still thought it was nice though!
Neat game! All that's missing in my opinion is a little bit of feedback as to what effect the potion has had. Perhaps the debuffs could also have been a bit more significant than a stat change.
I also had an issue where I would get cornered by an enemy with no way to get out. Overall I liked the music and art though and it is a really solid game!
thanks for playing! i couldn't make a good feedback system for the stats in time, was planning on something like the one in the binding of isaac where it showed the "+XXX" text beside each stat when it gets changed. i'm glad you still enjoyed it though!
Love the music! Looks great too.
It is hard to see what the potions do. I can see the stats change, but other than the health bar, I'm not sure what each stat is.
Also: the character moved way too fast for me. I was constantly having a hard time getting through doors. :-D

i wanted to show how the stats changed using a "+XXX" or "-XXX" below or beside each stat whenever a potion is picked up but i couldn't get it to work right in time...
as for not knowing the stats, i do realize it's still a bit hard to tell. i was also planning on making an instructions scene that showed how each stat worked but that also couldn't be made in time. i tried to remedy this by adding the stats into the project description, but people might not see that (me included).
as for the speed, i capped the speed so it wouldn't be too fast but i could see it being a problem. maybe think of it as an added challenge, haha.

Played and finished-- I like the art, music, and sound effects, and the gameplay is solid! It's a little difficult to tell exactly what each potion did, though. It would be cool if it was a little more obvious. Good work!
