It looks like there are no obstacles on the right lane, but you can still be proud of your first game jam!

Developer

Yea, an unfortunate "feature" that we only picked up on an hour or two after the jam closed - ah well. Thanks for the encouraging words!

Indeed a simply game but with a clever idea of gameplay, so unique!

Developer

I'm really glad to hear it, thank you!

Very cool concept, very fun to play, nice audio and visuals, overall really cool! Good job!

Developer

Thank you so much for the positive feedback!

I'm sure it's unintentional but I reached a score of 100+ by just sitting in the right lane, no water obstacles would spawn there - this makes the gameplay feel quite dull.

Played it by forcing myself to go back to the centre and to the left lane where possible though and that definitely made it more fun, the evil number is a cool idea!

+ minimalistic easy to play game for a quick fun break; looks great and the art fits with the music

// for improvement it could use a restart as well as a pause and continue button :)

Developer

Cheers for taking the time to play and critique. I definitely agree on the improvements, I'm glad the art and music go together!

tricky runner game but I love the art and I got caught out by the number changing a fair bit! Nice work especially for your first jam!

Thanks, Fennec! That means a lot, I'm glad you like it!

Its a pretty fun game!
May use a bit more Quality of life features, but is pretty solid for a Jam Game!

Congrats De la Cour!
(Still, I missed some Finger Knights throwing dices at each other)

Developer

Oh man, this would have been a perfect theme to finally implement those dudes!! It'd been so long I'd forgotten about them - thanks for reminding me (and for taking the time to play the game!)

Really great concept - that Evil Evil number nearly caught me out more than once! Made for a very fun little game :)

Would love to see the speed increase as the game goes on to ramp up the difficulty!

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback, it's much appreciated!

I really like the idea and think it has a lot of potential. A couple things that I would suggest to add is a reset button so that I dont have to refresh the page to try again. Also I think a minimap would do wonders as well as a heads up on what the next evil number is going to be and when so that I can put a bit more strategy into my next moves. Good job on your first jam!

Thanks for playing, I really appreciate the critique and encouraging words!
