Made it to 77! really enjoyed this. the atmosphere is great, it felt like the rocks were getting more dense as I went along so you had a difficulty progression. One thing I was really wanting while playing is some additional feedback on the effects I was picking up. Several of the things i could see or feel while playing, but there were a few cases where I would pick up several dice in a row and have no idea what changed if I already had some effects on me.
Had a lot of fun, would play this more especially if you put some more polish on it.
shipwrecked at a score of 40. I love the aesthetics in this game (as a massive sucker for anything nautical, really). I liked how some of the effects that seem good (speed) could actually harm you once you got to a really rocky section of the game. Stormy weather was also a good addtion, since navigating with limited visibility was challenging. I feel like this could be a cool minigame in a larger game, or maybe expanded to be similar to ALTER EGO (a mobile game that had a really cool theme and a similar tone to it). The contemplative music and relaxing gameplay really reminded me of ALTER EGO, even though these games are so different on the surface (this is a compliment).
Great job!
I like how the game looks, I’m unnexperienced so thinking you could create all those assets in 48 hours sounds crazy
Thank you! I made everything except the music, font, rock and ship models, so I had to learn how to write shaders for like fog and skybox.
This has a great atmosphere! The gameplay isn't super challenging but I enjoy how relaxing it feels. Also I haven't seen many other entries with this concept yet, great work!
Thank you! I brainstormed a few concepts before thinking about sailors and their connection with dice (like using luck and the sea).
Very cute and relaxing!
Thanks!
