Apparently I didn't make it obvious that you roll the die INTO the black square on the ground in the second room, woops. And yeah the movement is trash but I ran outta time to fix it. XD
I like the idea, but the acceleration is too slow.
I had no idea what I was supposed to do.
Hey! The first level was cool but I couldn't figure out how to get past the 2nd doors
Here's some feedback:
- The player movement was unsatisfying, felt too slow and built up too much momentum. Getting the player movement to feel right is (in my opinion) one of the most important parts of making a good game.
- Better indicators on how to open doors would make the game a lot more playable. If the player doesn't know how to progress, they most likely won't do so.
Congrats on submitting though! Hope this feedback helps you in the future :D
Yeah apparently I didn't make the second room make any sense. You have to land the die in the black square on the floor, haha
And yes the movement sucks and is the first thing I'll update if I work more on this! Thanks for the feedback!
I like how you can recall the dice like thor's hammer, super cool!
Definitely my favorite part of making this hahaha
Nice work! I like the mechanic and it's fun to throw the dice around, but the players feels a bit slow to start and quickly goes overboard, I think a slightly faster acceleration and jump speed could make a little better 😀
Thanks! Yeah movement is the next thing I'll fix if I keep working on it. 👍
