I agree with the comments mentioning technical issues unfortunately but I really liked the idea, spent like 20 minutes completing the game. It's a unique and enjoyable concept, and I think if you polish the game a bit, fix the bugs and find a way to present the mechanics without a wall of text you'll end up with a very solid game.

Thanks for playing! I fully agree, I'm not proud of the wall-of-text-tutorial but I ran into time issues unfortunately.

This was an interesting game. I think the core idea here is really interesting, but it has some significant issues that got in the way of my enjoyment. I think the game really needs a system to avoid you getting duplicate cards, as they are only a major hindrance. It also seems like the last two cards being re-shuffled between rounds is probably a glitch, and if not, it was confusing and really annoying. These two things combined made it really hard to try and build an effective deck, and whether I was prepared for any given fight felt like RNG. I really liked the idea behind it, but the technical issues got in the way of me really getting into it.

Also, is this a 2D game made in the Unreal Engine? I didn't know that was something that you could even really do. I'm guessing it's not very efficient, though, since my computer fans ramped up trying to play this.

Thanks for the feedback!

The last two cards being shuffled is intended, I should've made it more clear, but the premise is that you bring in two cards, ,and your oponnent brings in two as well.

I like how it's like battle yahtzee-poker and it's a good gameplay loop. I did find it was kind of hard to parse the enemy turn since it would happen so fast and there wasn't too much visual feedback on what was going on.

I also ran into some bugs where the enemy would die(?) and then it would be replaced with a boss and my cards would be different or the enemy would die prematurely and I would get to pick loot.

I love this! Really fun way to take a mechanic that's common in physical dice games and bring it into a video game. You already managed to come up with some very fun "cards", and it's very fun to try to get synergy between the different cards.

Thank you for playing and the nice comment!

Very fun and addicting game! Just spent 2 hours trying to get to the final boss. You can get very creative with different builds to consider. An example being if you either want a consistent, low luck build which doesn't deal a lot of damage or an all out luck build with a nuke at your disposal. The roll is yours
