Cool concept! 😊 The main things I was going to talk about have already been mentioned (double jump not working and lack of clarity when it comes to hazards.) Overall pretty fun and challenging!

How does your game fit the theme?
The Level designs are based around dice. The Player can "re-roll" the levels like dice. There are also random elements to highlight the randomness of dice rolls. There is also a puzzle related to dice.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! Sam and I definitely want to fix bugs and iterate on this project and will definitely take everything on board! Next jam, we definitely need to assign more time to level design/art (or work with an artist), but we really appreciate all feedback :)
I'll do my best to reply to as many comments as possible!
Doble jump does not working.. I also didn't realize why I sometimes die. The platforms I jumped on did not look different.
But the game concept, of rolling worlds, is awesome.
Great job !
To second some of the comments here, I also had some trouble with the double jump and was confused by which platforms were lethal and which weren't, but I love the changing world concept. With a bit more work on the visual design you'll be on to something pretty cool!
Neat game, I didn't come across another game where the world is the dice yet. Difficult but fun.
On my first try, I didn't get the double jump powerup on the first dice which made it next to impossible.
It would be nice to be able to backtrack and reroll the level in such a case. Other than that, great job!
Fun idea, had some problems identifying what is and is not lethal. That could have been a little clearer.
Title made me think of Katamari Damacy.
The idea of being able to change levels with the roll of a die is very interesting. Maybe there should be a way of re-rolling after entering a level. It would be very cool if you could see the non-selected levels on the side faces of the dice.
I had some repeated levels, I don't know if that's intentional?
I would like some more visual indication of what's bad to stand on. The dice faces seem perfectly harmless, but they send you back to the checkpoint. And there are some white blocks you can stand on, and others you cannot, which is a bit confusing,
I couldn't figure out what to do with the purple door, so I quit there.
Hi Diogo, thank you for the feedback! I loved the Katamari games, I can't believe we didn't directly use that as a reference (we 100% will refer to that from here on out haha!)
We actually debated putting in the re-roll feature while you're in the level, but it would have taken more time to test than we had (also I am AWFUL at platformers so testing takes longer than normal haha), but it's definitely something we'd like to consider in future! That's also a really good idea in terms of showing the non-selected sides of the dice, I'll add that to the list.
I think the repeated levels are down to the random feature we set up, which are (ironically) so random that they allow for repeat entries (which even though they're random, to us they appear less random). In future versions, we may look to refine the random feature to ensure entries are less likely to repeat.
And we also definitely need to make it clearer what the overall "Objective" is (with the purple door), so that's also something we'll add in in future too. Thank you again for the feedback
