I love the intro cinematic, the art is very well made! Good job, the collisions however are a bit janky, but overall I really enjoyed the experience, good job!
Awesome, thanks for playing!
Neat game. I like the story that it is telling and the game play is enjoyable but the inability to restart a level when you mess up the third level really killed it for me. I had to replay the first two levels twice in order to finish it and that was quite frustrating.
Thanks for the feedback! The restart button was one of the many things that slipped through due to time constraints, and is something we'll be sure to add once the jam finishes. That should make it a more enjoyable experience overall.
Both the soundtrack and art are genuinely amazing, in therms of gameplay the physics could use some tweaks but i understand considering the timeframe, after a few minutes it was fine to get used to, but thats honestly my only complain, slow mo during the die switching felt rly nice and the mechanics allows for some cool platform puzzles ^w^
Thank you for the compliment! The physics definitely need a little work; we'll try fixing it soon. Glad you had fun!
Fun platformer! As many have said the physics feel a little wonky and may be helped by further playtesting. Cute graphics, old school hand-drawn feel. Nice!
Thank you for playing and enjoying it! We will keep working on the physics for a future update, but we're glad that you liked the presentation.
The third level took me so much time because I kept softlocking myself and having to restart over.
However, the idea itself is very interesting, the artstyle is great and the music is a banger!
We're glad you liked the concept! I will be sure to leave a warning in the description; because we didn't have the time to add a restart button, it can be frustrating to have to completely restart the game. Still, thanks for enjoying!
Very fun little platformer. The physics was... strange. The player's top speed and acceleration made for a strange feeling combination, where I found myself overshooting platforms a lot. There was also a weird physics interaction with walls, but that may be an engine / Box2D thing. I also managed to get myself soft-locked in the last level, and I would have appreciated a level restart button for that. I did enjoy the game overall, though. Certainly worth the restart to see it through to the end. (I did get the end card, and it didn't restart at the end)
Thanks for playing! The physics definitely need tweaking, and a restart button was intended, but because of time they were just a few of the things that got cut. We'll make sure both are addressed in an update. But we're glad it was fun enough to see it through to the end!
Super charming graphics + fun controls for a platformer. The momentum doesn't feel right when you lose height because you hit a vertical wall but that can be forgiven for the satisfying speed and switching concept. Awesome job on this!
Thanks for the feedback; I'm glad you enjoyed it!
so cute~
Thanks! Glad you like the aesthetic.
Better than most of the PS2 catalogue, yeah.
