It’s fun to knock away the golden dice and use it to attck the cards.

Developer

Thank you for playing! And I agree lol. That was my main strategy.

overall solid.

I generally really like high score games, and this one is no different,

i also love how you can use the golden dice offensively

Developer

Thank you! I thought that was a fun twist to the mechanics!

This game really starts to shine once you get a few dice in the mix. Knocking away the golden die is oddly fun. There's also some strategy to it - I found myself trying to keep the golden die away from the edges to keep it as far as possible from all potential card entry points.

I also love the vibe of this game! Great work!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're glad you liked our game!

I had a lot of fun with it! The short music loop got annoying after a few minutes, but I thought it was pretty nice! I liked the more literal take on "roll of the dice", but I can see how people could think it doesn't have enough to do with it. My highest score was 6400 :D

Developer

Thanks for playing! Good job on the high score!

I liked that you could either aim for the cards or the die and switch sides- makes for good strategy! I personally found the music grating. With a little more time, a start menu would be a nice addition!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! The music definitely wasn't a perfect pick for the game, but it was the closest thing to perfect I found for it. I'm glad you enjoyed the game overall though!

Very cute, feelt like the reloading phase or whatever was a bit long (or hard to understand?) though so I ended up just clicking frantically as the darn cards ate my precious dice.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Yeah, I should have added an option to skip the reloading phase early!

I like the film grain effect. Would be nice if the music didn't restart every time you lose.

Developer

Thanks! I thought about adding that too, but just ran out of time unfortunately.

hahaha i love the cards/enemies animations! Nice work!
It would be cool if you could grab dices you throw

Developer

Thank you! That would be pretty cool actually.

Addictive, have to move on to next submission... one more game though

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This is quite interesting. That said it became really easy once I got the king dice in a corner. I think it needs a bit of ramping difficulty.

Developer

Yeah, I agree with that. I wish I had more time to add in features like that!

Gameplay is moderately fun, but not particularly polished. some extra particle effects could have been added, more sound effects etc. but the main issue  with the game is the lack of introduction. the game just opens up and straight away starts, there were also no hints about the controls, it took some time to figure out. 6/10

Developer

I completely agree with the critiques! I just wish I had more time to work on them!
