I really liked the art and animations but the sound is missing. At first I didn't really know what to do so maybe a tutorial/explanation in game would be helpful. but for the rest really nice!
The art looks so good! I got a little confused at first when I realized there wasn't anything to do between level ups, but it got pretty exciting farther in the game when tons of monsters were swarming and I was hoping to reach the next level up before dying. I think it could be a pretty fun game if you implement the changes you mentioned in the description.
Needed instructions but the visuals were very nice.

Looks great and has a nice charm to it, but having no gameplay is a bit of an issue :)

I wanted to give the players fun through strategic choices, but I couldn’t put a lot of features related to it (multiple skills and skill combinations, random level-up rewards, items, etc.) There was a plan, but I made the mistake of estimating the time it would take for development.
Super cool take on the brief, randomised damage! The game feels very luck heavy but you know thems the dice! Stellar job for your first jam! Good game!

Nice art style and concept! However, as others have said it feels like the game plays itself. I didn’t need to do much in between waves of enemies.

Yeah art is really good, even animations, for two days you did a great job there. Creative idea but game just plays itself really.
I should have developed an element to give the fun to the player first, but I spent too much time elsewhere.
