How does your game fit the theme?
WIth the "Roll of the dice" theme, we thought about how randomness can be a crucial factor, but still a one with which a player can adjust to and win with. In Hell Roll you roll a dice to determine the attributes to your next run. Your run heavily depends on which attributes are higher and which are lower and as a player you have to adapt to it.

I didn't quite understand the stat allocation at first, as I didn't realise you could only click the ones highlighted in yellow. But I like how the stats are divided up between different dice rolls - is the RNG different for the dice rolls for each stat group?
Also, I found that playing in full screen was required in order to be able to read the text, but made the game run slower, so I had to switch back to a small window for smoother gameplay. (And then switch back to full screen again to read text.)
The gameplay is nice and challenging, and really made me think about which stats to prioritise each time I re-rolled. The art and music assets you chose were very fitting, and make the game extra juicy. Great job! 😊
Yes, the RNG is different each time. Interestingly, many comments report on issues with fullscreen mode, although, everything's fine on my end. I'll look into it, thank you!

The only thing missing from this game is some final polish, and I know that isn't always possible with game jam games, but I'll call it how I see it. I think the biggest thing for me was that the enemies just spawn in with no warning and often killed me immediately. Also stuff like hitboxes were a little unforgiving, but other than that I think the game was really fun! I had a great time playing until the end, and I clicked over 2000+ times lmao. Great jam submission, nice work :)
I like art and music style, game play is hard for me couldn't go so far looks like enemy is power full. overall nice to play.
Very good game overall. The only problem I had was controls feeling a bit clunky.
I also had the problem in fullscreen mode. Try to play it in the small window mode, it was much smoother for me

I tried to stun enemies, but that didn't work. And with only shooting bullets, I managed to get to the second level only and then die every time :/. The concept of your game was cool though :)

Pretty fun, graphics are cute and the music is an absolute banger. However the dice mechanics isn't really felt as useful. Still a cool one though, good job with artistic direction !
Thank you! Dice mechanics don’t feel useful probably because of the lack of proper indication. Trust me, it builds you a different character each time
Very functional and easy to play, but I don't really see the theme shining through. After the first 20 seconds I completely lost the dice theme. Great product though!
