Oh I like this idea! :)

The background music is actually really really well done - it fits your space theme very well! I also really like how the dice can effortlessly move up and down on the walls. The clean neon-aesthethics in general mix in well with the space background.

I know you probably ran out of time and would have polished it more / given it more levels if you could, but nevertheless here is what I think your game could profit from:
- A cleaner intro / main menu at the start. I think just putting up a dark colored square to let the text stand out would really help a bunch already!
- Some kind of sound system for player feedback (when the player did something right or wrong) would be really neat as well! Maybe a very subtle sound for whenever your dice is turning / when a new side is hitting the ground too. Little things like that can really bring a lot of immersion into a game!

Thanks for the feedback.  :)
I really appreciate that you noticed the small detail with the neon-aesthetics, since it was a conscious effort from my part, even if it might seem like a lazy way of doing it.

I like your ideas of having a cleaner intro/outro menu and adding black to the background of the text. And you're totally right that it was mainly due to time constraints that lead to the unpolished nature of such things. I also like your idea of adding feedback to the player for turning the cube. It was also something that I had in mind, but didn't get the time to add it. In that regard, I really liked the feedback that was in your game.

Ok I didn't realise someone else would have the exact same idea as me for this jam.

The art and music was pretty nice. I find that with the puzzles, the feeling I get is that you are just throwing the player in blindly and expecting them to figure out everything on their own. There isn't really a coherent flow to the puzzles. For me, since I happened to have the exact same idea as you, I am familiar with the mechanics and know how to roll the dice around to land on the numbers, but this might not be the case for others. With my game, I tried to make the levels small so I can teach one idea in each level, and slowly develop the player's understanding of the game.

Thanks for checking it out. I get what you mean. I had meant for more levels and better thought out levels, though because I worked on the programming mostly, I sort of didn't have enough time to polish the level design. In general, I think your game looks a lot more polished.

That being said, I'm happy to have partisipated in the jam. :)

Great that you are happy to have participated. I did spend a lot of time on polish and getting the game to feel good. However, apparently there are tons of games this jam which use the idea we used, and some of them are even more polished than mine.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I feel like the theme this year was a lot more limited into its interpetation.
Though perhaps it's not meant to be taken literally.

Though it might be stated in the game already.

Controls are:

 - Arrow keys to move.

 - Mouse to rotate the camera. (the dice will move according to the rotation of the camera)

Try to align the number on the dice with the number on the floor/wall.

Note: Since it was for the game jam, I sort of got short time for the level design and only designed 4 levels as proof of concept. But I found it really fun to just roll around with the dice and could be challenging to align the numbers, the first levels are easy and the final level is to test your skills.

Let me know what you think about it! :D

Edit: I also tried to add a cover image, but for some reason it wouldn't upload to itch.io.

Edit2: Just to note, I did not do the skybox for the game. Aside from that everything else is done by me.
