These graphics are fucking nuts

I'M FREAKING AMAZED on how graphically wonderful this game is! my notebook is an integrated vega 8 with 8 gb of ram and a ryzen 3 and run nicely, with some slowdowns occasionally but nothing unplayable (at least for me).

it proofs the potential of godot on 3d.

my only complaining is all about the lack of feedback, how long it takes to extract the fuel? there's no feedback, time left, or percentage, it would be fine to know this information for the sake of strategy.

but for me you are already the winner at art category.

Thanks for the constructive feedback! I was cutting close on the deadline since it took a while to do the art and I didn't have enough time to polish the balance/pace of the game. That's good to hear that it runs decent on your machine (optimization is the main drawback of developing on the latest and greatest hardware).

Wow!! Proof that Godot can make 3D games! Very impressive graphics!! Scary bugs! 🙂💕

Those are terrific graphics! Congrats for pulling that off in such a short time! It's so nice to see real 3D complex games made in Godot!

The game looks fantastic, but needs a powerful pc to run properly. Loved the overall style and enemy design. In my opinion mouse sensitivity was kinda low even at the highest value. Very impressive as a jame game.

Developer

Thanks, I will try to keep the mouse sensitivity in mind. It's possibly because I only have 1080p displays and that may affect it. The lowest end hardware I had available to test on was a GTX 1060 laptop which ran at an average 60 fps but I understand if some don't have a dedicated GPU and I will have to see if there's a way to force Godot to use integrated graphics...

Thanks for the feedback!

didn't  work on my pc just crashes but music keeps on playing

Developer

That's not good. Any hardware details you could provide? Does it crash when trying to launch the level or on the main menu?

I don't know how you pulled that out, astonishing visuals for a 10 days Godot game. But I kinda got bored with the action part.

Yes, I did what had to be done, eradicating generations of docile alien life. What hubris, to think we mortal men deserved to set foot upon that serene planet: Garand IV.
