As it was my first jam and have never used a mac before, I have mapped a key settings that uses a short cut for  mac. As far as I am aware it makes the game unplayable without shutting down the mac shortcuts.

Is it allowed to update the current versions key bindings?

Any updates that fix bugs that break your game are generally allowed.  I've seen this asked a few times in chat/youtube streams etc...  You should be fine.

As far as I know it should only be for really game breaking issues during the rating period, such as an inability to complete the game, or crashes.

I will wait until one of the admins show up to confirm.  :)

We do allow fixes for game-breaking bugs. Controller remapping is not that game breaking, unless you mapped it for AZERTY keyboards :)
