This was a fun game! I agree with others that I wanted to move a bit faster. I also notice sometimes I can read clues inside the house by being outside the house, not really a big deal though. Great entry, I enjoyed the pixel art, humor, and the very satisfying stamping I get when a level is solved. I do wish there's more sound effects in the game, might help break up that super repetitive music.

Good idea, congratulations on the amount of content you managed to put it. The walking speed is a bit slow i feel.
This is very original, cool idea for going along with the connection theme, also always surprising to see story based games. Music was a bit repetitive, but the game definitely has lots of charm.
Exactly what described and does it well. I'd make the guy a bit faster but otherwise I had fun!
I love the idea for the game! Not many story based games out there. The idea is also interesting, with you just having to find evidence instead of finding the perpetrator.
Points for improvement would be fixing that repetitive music, editing the wrong spelling and grammar in the text, and maybe having the player move faster. The player movement isn't relevant to the gameplay and just slows the player down. In fact, I can imagine playing this game as a point and click game, hovering around the area then clicking on something interesting. The detective then just teleports near the area to inspect the objects. At least that way, we wouldn't be encumbered by the slow movement!
Thanks for the advice, I will say music is not my strong suit, it probably would help if I didn't save it for last every time. Sad to here you didn't like the movement speed although I can see where your coming from, the original intention of it was to give the sense of a slow exploration, as if your investigating everything closely, but I can see how it could be frustrating. Thank you so much for the advice, love to get feedback so that I can improve. :)
No prob man! Regarding the player movement, I get your point about investigating everything slowly. Maybe the keyboard controls just made everything feel more clunky to me. If it was movement through mouse-clicks, I think it'd be more fitting. Even if the movement was at the same speed, it wouldn't get in the way.
this is great, love the bobbing for walking. looks
like my house, i've got the same dead body in my front room.
