It's functional and pretty amusing, if a little buggy. Sorry to hear some of your team bailed.

Tower defense is an ambitious genre for a game jam project! Great job getting as much done as you did in this short amount of time. :-)

Nice start to a tower defense game. There were points when the turrets would just fire off to the side instead of firing at the target which seemed odd. But it's a good start.

I do like tower defense games, and this is a good start toward one. First wave felt really difficult, and I was confused about how to place the turrets at first.

I am sorry to hear your team dissolves during game development. Overall a totally free-of-grids tower defense game, great job! Actually enjoyed

(1 edit)

Once I understood how the controls worked (I had just been clicking the button before, which would place the turret under the button, doh), I actually really enjoyed this. Not sure, but is the first wave even possible to beat? That said, I'd like to see this expanded if you can. It was pretty enjoyable, and seems like a solid basis for a TD like game, especially considering you said the team started to slowly disappear. Bonkers how good the game is considering that.

No the first level is impossible

Actually there's a way to beat the first wave. Try to place the two turrets near the beginning and the end of the path

Ur right, now is actually possible
