Nice job. Obviously needs more content but the concept has promise. The visuals and especially sound add to the slightly haunted feel. Good work :)
Nice atmosphere. I was feeling a bit uneasy not knowing what lurks in those woods :)
It would be great if you could add some fun animations for the heart. Making it look excited as you approach house perhaps. I envision it as some kind of pet that follows you around and gives advice :)
I would remove option to jump, as it has no purpose (or maybe it does and I didn't notice? :) ) It's less code to mainain and look at and also keeps the vision clearer in terms of design.

I really like the atmosphere of the wood. Ominous but also somewhat relaxing. Nice little game.
Obviously I went into the opposite direction as well to see whats out there, just to fall of the world :D
