Thank you for playing! I definitely see the potential for an undo functionality in the future.

Thank you so much for your feedback (and for giving me some ideas!). I’m definitely not done with the game and have some new ideas in mind. I just need to find the time to work on them. But comments like this really help boost my motivation :D

Really glad you enjoy the game!

Thank you so much for playing and letting me know about the menu issue! Not sure how this got past me, but I fixed it and uploaded the new version (v1.0.1).

Oh no!

Can you please tell me what operating system you are using? It's working on my machines (windows and windows) in both browsers.

Oh wow, absolutley love the sense of style in this one :D

I also fondly remember the first Strong Numbers game, so this was a really pleasent surprise.

Okay, I am really into this. The writing, the cool characters, the awesome pixelart.

I wish I had someone to play with, because playing it alone really made my head spin :D

I really love the presentation of this game, esp. the cat towers of course :D

The system also seem really interesting and unique (but I am not an expert in the tower defence genre), but for me it was also really hard to understand what's going on at first. A tutorial/more slower introduction of sytems might have been helpful, but for a jam that's hard to do (I also failed at that :D),

That was really great! The level with all the tiny animations looks so nice! And I also really like the ending, providing both meaning and payoff to this cute little game and ties everything nicely back to the theme.

What a cute and charming game. And a really cool way to tell the story.
It really has the (really good) children's book to it. Would play it with my little niece if she could understand English :D

Falling down part of the fun, I hope :D

Thanks for playing!

Thanks, I love watching some area slowly fillig up with stickers.
I just need to figure out how to display more at the same time without absolutely killing the performance :D

Awesome, if you are making a larger game, may I suggest adding a constellation mechanic of any sort. Star constellations make everything better :D

Wow, that was such a cool experience! At first I was a bit overwhelmed , but after a short ajusting period it was really fun to mentally map out the level based on the audio feedback. Maybe some audio indicators about the state of the battle would also be cool (like how far the enemies are away from the core) would be cool (I hope I haven't missed it), since I was mostly relying on visuals for that.

There seems an encoding issue with some of the text: on my system, the text-to-speach reads " ' " characters as "Euro trademark", so "I'm" became "I Euro trademark m" which made following the narration a bit difficult :D

Anyway, awesome work!

(1 edit)

This game is really cool, definitely one of my favourites. Navigating the space with the telescope is a cool idea and fun to do and I love the UI design as well. Only the small font was maybe a bit hard to read sometimes.
For some reason, even though the game is set in the future, it made me feel a bit nostalgic for the old days of social media, when everything felt more weird and exciting and less commercial :D

Thank you for playing and your feedback. I think you are definitely right, I should made it more forgiving at the beginning. I am thinking about to change it that you get an energy bar everytime you use a sticker. That would make the mechanics more interconnected and more freedom on how to approach things and makes sure that you always at least have one bar when you respawn.

Hey, gratulations on finishing your first jam! I love the character art and the environmental details. Everything's just so wholesome and cute :D

Really fun arcade game! I love the artwork and animations, they are so cute. Also, the invincibility feeels really good, when you finally get it :D

That's a really cool play on the theme. I don't know if the slippery character controls were part of the attended challange, but for me more precise movement would have made the game more enjoyable. I liked the puzzle-y process of figuring out where to place the blocks much more than the slippery platforming challenges :D
But yeah, cool game!

I agree, it's a really well written, heartfelt little story. Thank you for making this game!

I really love the visuals, animation and music, especially the ending screen. It's just so charming :D

The only way for me to get to the ending was through spamming the space bar, which is probably really fitting, as in having to constantly, actively keeping up appearances in order to be accepted or 'get in' quickly. Well done, I like it a lot!

That was really interesting. I really liked the atmosphere created by the sound design and the clean visuals. But it was a bit difficult for me to focus on the text, since the bouncy ball always grabbed my attention away from it. Maybe it would work well with a voice-over narration? Anyway, great job!

Really cool. Didn't expect a VR game in this jam. I am not sure if its a problem on my side, or if it's a bug, but I had problems with the slow down - it activated on random times and not when I press the grip. Other than that it works great. Love the vaporwave vibe.  Now I really want to check out  VR development myself :D Awesome work!

Really interesting concept. It took me some time to get used to it, especially getting 'reset' into a clone felt really disorienting at first. But once I got used to it, I had a  great time. Also love the minimal look, I feel it fits the game really well.

Awesome game! Feels really polished and the difficulty ramps up nicely :D Had a great time with it.  A reset button mit be a good addition. And more levels :D

Cool and interesting game. Feels a bit like a weird N64 game (and I mean that absolutely as a compliment). The art and mood is really great and . The movement could use a little bit of work. I often got stuck at walls - especially in narrow corridors. Other than that I really enjoyed it.

Just wanna say that I really like the artstyle, the models and animation and I hope you continue to make something really cool with it :D

Great game. The art is absolutely charming and the puzzle mechanic really interesting.

The problem was that I couldn't activate the orbs. Not sure what was going on, but none of the three orbs were working. I could still run around and use the spacebar etc. but no effect.

Cute game. Really like the clean design. I agree that the charging should be a little bit faster! And/or maybe start the level fully charged (you have to recharge in the levels anyway. But good job!

Beautiful atmosphere, and I love the moon fox sprite. Great music as well, it sounded very Ghibli-esque :)

I had a bit of a problem to activate the three orbs in the 'green zone' to activate the bridge. I had to restart the game to get it to work.

Other than that awesome game!

I really like the style, the mood and also the movement in this game. It reminds me little of those PS1 era platformers with cgi backgrounds and unforgiving difficulty levels :D I think some feedback on when you are touching a wall would be great. Great work.

Very interesting idea! Writing, art and especially music and sound design are really good.

The only thing I didn't like was the 'blip' when you loose the rhythm. I thought it was too harsh, because when it happens you get a lot of that sounds, stressing me even more out, which I think is not the intend of the game :D Maybe something softer would work or some kind of soft reset / center mechanic where you center yourself and get back into the rhythm on your own term.

Anyway, great entry!

I had a great time with this game. Love the clean look and the cute design. Was actually a bit sad that it was over so soon :D

Really cool. You manage to pull of the retro aesthetic really well.
But it's also really hard. Sometimes I got hit when I thought I would be safe, so for me at least it was a bit hard to 'feel' how generous the hitbox on the player is. Maybe a little feedback when you get hit would be helpful.

Anyway, great game, I will have another go :D

Pretty awesome game! Love the design of the robot. Really cool model and animations. Also the sound design is so satisfying.

I had two small issues: (1) the animation bugged out twice after I hit the corner of the platform. And (2) the Z key is in a inconvenient position on the German keyboard layout. A remapping function would help a lot :D

Anyway, great work!

Really cute game. Love the tiles expressions, it's really simple, but works great :D

Rally amazing! The presentation as a newspaper is a really cool idea and executed perfectly . Love the design and music. And the chaos (after a bit of a slow start), as I try to keep the engine running :D

Very charming game. Sound/music and visual fit really well.

For me it was a bit tough at first, since reading/comprehending English always takes a little bit of extra time for me, which you don't have in this game :D But I quickly got used to it. Good job, I really enjoyed it.

Love the visuals and design! It's also an interesting concept. It took me some time until I got it, but even then, if found it really difficult. Maybe an easier 'relax' mode might really work well with this game.

Really cool puzzle mechanic! I liked it a lot. Wouldn't mind playing more levels of that :D
