Game feels quite unpolished, but mechanics variety is nice, bribing looks especially interesting in a stealth game concept. And it's a good take on the theme for sure!
I think there's kind of a mismatch in art and sound. The visuals are pretty silly, but the audio is dark and looming. However, this is a really mechanically solid stealth game with well-implemented ideas. Nice job :)
Yes you hit the nail on the head. I ran out of time for the audio :( Thanks for the comment
Wow, I really like the art style and the mechanics. Had a lot of fun playing this, very polished for a jam game.
Edit: The guards are intelligent too! Amazing what you put out in a week.
nice game and good graphics.
Honestly, the art style was weirdly pleasing and satisfying. Bit confusing till you get used to everything, but great job!
Thanks for playing!
Really cool! :D I love the graphical style and the overall vibe. The layout of the levels feels really good to play at first, though it gets so difficult I couldn't really get through it. The fact that the viewcones kind of 'snap' into different positions makes it really hard to predict when a guard is going to break his neck and chase me down with a sword.
I'd love to see a post-jam version of this though! It already feels quite polished for a jam game, I think just a few quality-of-life fixes would take it a long way.
Thanks for the feedback! Good idea about the viewcones, it would make it a bit less brutal ^^
I loved the atmosphere, the visuals and the audio. Great job. I couldn't get past the second level though, because neither the retry button nor the next button would work.
There are a couple things that could use a bit of improvement imo. The movement speed is really slow. The game is a bit too hand-holdsy at the beginning with all the dialog. It just slows things down, and at first I thought the controls don't work at all. Then I realized I need to bypass the dialog. The collisions also were a bit wonky, the fences stopping you at places that you don't expect.
Thanks for your feedback! You found a game breaking bug that I caused by polishing a bit too late :O I'll see if it's possible to upload a patch.
For the rest of the gameplay, I agree with all your points. More polishing will add a lot :D
