Idea behind the game is original, fun and cool and, although i didn't had time to finish the game, i loved what is next according to what can you buy on the shop.

There is not much i can add that other comments didn't say before. First steps on the game are maybe too slow, but as you stated, you didn't had time to test the game, so sure you will improve easily.

Just a couple of things that i think are important: A volume/mute sound control (i couldn't find any) and don't let the player to place the exit inside the walls: Hero gets stuck, he never can reach the exit, and there is no restart button, so i had to quit and start again the game.

Really neat concept and I had a lot of fun. I had a hard time being profitable, and found that I ran out of money before I could really figure out how to play. Maybe I missed part of the tutorial, but a bit more explanation about what drives ratings, and some basic strategy might help.

Very cool idea and good execution.

Thank you! Yeah, I didn't have as much time to work on it as I'd like to, that was a busy week for me. I threw together a quick formula to calculate the ratings given at the beginning of development, and I was going to playtest it and redo it but I didn't have time to :/. Too much is hidden from the player I think.

One thing I realized I forgot to mention in the game at all is that during the level it tracks how often you do something, and you receive diminishing returns, and the ratings are also (supposed) to be based on how difficult it is for the hero to do.

I think it is very original take on the theme! Graphics and sound are the weak part, but it is good to see variety of objects to place. Maybe difficulty could have an improvement because I had to kinda grind 1st level to get 200+ dollars.

Anyway I think that organizing crime for you hero to fight is an interesting and cool idea!

Thank you! Yes, I didn't scope around the free time I actually had, so I didn't have time to playtest difficulty.  If I had more time I probably would have made ratings easier to get, and to always receive a base amount of money on a win so it's not impossible.

Thank you for playing!

Very original idea, good execution. But once you lost too much money you are unable to set another show, so you’re kind of stuck :)

Great submission, had a lot of fun.

Thank you! I ran out of time to playtest, difficulty is definitely not organized well. I would have changed the formula for ratings if I had more time, and probably given a base amount of money on win so that you can't get into unwinnable situations.

Thanks for playing

Love the game idea and the execution.  The money earned per level is low, but honestly it takes time to become an exciting hero lol. UI and all felt pretty intuitive after a few tries.

fun game.

Really fun!! I did get a few situations where I felt like it was just too snowballed, even if I only spend $10 I only make $0.61 back, and that felt a little punishing. But I really really liked the concept, the graphical style was simple but clear to read, and the music fit really well.

Overall a vv good jam entry! :D Thanks for submitting!

Yes, I didn't scope this game out properly for the freetime I actually had. I wrote the formula for determining how your ratings increased at the very beginning, and then never got the chance to actually play test it. I would have rewrote it, and probably make it so you're always gaining some money so you don't end up in an situation where you can't do anything.

Thank you for playing!

Interesting and unique idea! Had a great time playing the tv hero and everything seemed really good too, but the rate at which you got money was a bit slow.

Thank you! I wish I had more free time during the week. The way I calculated the amount of revenue you get was the very first one I wrote and I meant to rewrite it to make it better.
