A very relaxing game with great art and music. Really enjoyed it!

I wasn't expecting this to be as addicting as it was, but the controls came pretty quickly after a little bit of confusion. Then once you get into the flow it's super fun. The game loop is simple yeah, but that's great for the game jam, obviously there's a lot of ways you could expand this but as a starting point/foundation for a game it's solid. Everything is super polished in terms of UI and audiovisual feedback, and it feels great to play.

Also love the art! The little energy source sprites are super cute.

Nice job for a first time Godot user!

I played until everything was at max xD

I guess I only missed a win or loose for that matter state.

Yeah, I planned on adding some win condition, but eventually didn't have that much time, thanks for the feedback!

Intuitive and relaxing! could be improved by having to take some sort of desition (like having 2 types of resource, and diferent buildings for them) and an objective to win. Congrats!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I had in mind making a building that would be the end goal of the game, but eventually I ran out of time and energy. I didn't think about adding 2nd resource tho, which I think is a really good idea! Thanks again!

I didn't really get it at first, but this is a really lovely idle game. The art, music, and sfx all evoke this very relaxing vibe that doesn't get old. I'm surprised all these different parts came together so nicely. Once I figured the game out, I only expected to stay on it for a bit longer, but I've ended up playing for quiet a few minutes now haha.

For feedback, I didn't really understand the initial instruction bar, so I had to figure out the game through trial and error (which was easy enough since there's no fail state I'm aware of). There are also some icons that I can't really decipher. I'm not sure what the first resource that falls is, and I'm also not aware what some of the things I'm placing are (or why I'm placing them).

However, it still all comes together very nicely. I very much appreciate the minimal use of text and numbers. Outside of the text for the resource meters above, the game can be perfectly played and eventually understood from visuals alone. I think this was a very interesting restriction that definitely paid off in making the game stand out and have a stronger sense of identity. Well done!

Thanks so much for the feedback! Firstly I wanted to make a tutorial of some sort, but I didn't have the time and energy and went with low-effort bar instruction that could be improved. The falling resource is scrap or just resource, open for interpretation :D. The thing you place are renewable energy sources which include: Air mill, biomass, solar and geothermal. Again, thanks for the comment and awesome feedback!

Ah, got it. Those energy sources make a lot of sense, haha. Thank you for making this game, I had a very enjoyable time playing it.
