I really like the look of this game and the pixel art!  The ninja theme is also cool!

I think the stamina mechanic is interesting, but ended up really hampering the gameplay for me, since the stamina is depleted for every action you take (including walking).  There were several times I had to let the character stand still to recover energy so I could make some of the higher jumps.  I am terrible at platforming, so this limitation prevented me from getting too far, but I can appreciate the challenge that you're going for!

It took me over an hour but I beat it! This game is extremely punishing :')

Instant death and the stamina meter combine to create an extremely difficult and punishing experience. I thought the graphics and lighting and everything were really cool, and the stamina meter's one merit was that it forced me to stand around and take in the environment, get a mental model of the level that I'm playing, etc. Other than that, I think at least 50% of my playtime was just waiting for the stamina bar.

The final boss was very fun too, and the fact that most of it bypassed the stamina bar made it WAY more fun to play.

Great submission! I hope more people stick with the game and attempt to beat it. Overall I enjoyed my time with it but it was very very difficult. Thanks for submitting!

Wow, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, only you went through the game and appreciated it, I think maybe there would be value in stamina if it ended by itself and played the role of a timer on the level, but as you already said, this is not an unambiguous situation.

The art style, lighting, and music create a really mysterious and rather enchanting atmosphere! Unfortunately, as highlighted in previous comments already, the stamina system really put a damper on my experience playing :< But I also agree with everyone that it's good progress having only learned Godot for such a short time!

I got to agree with Prsas, the stamina is the big flaw in this game... it looks interesting, and as your first game it is really great! But the stamina ends up being a bottleneck in the gameplay...

Well, Prsas already gave some pretty great feedback, and your next game is bound to be a lot more fun I believe! Looking foward to your next jam participations.

It was a huge mistake to upload the game, it was not tested by friends, thanks for your feedback, the next game will definitely be better!

Nooo, it wasn't a mistake, chill up haha

By uploading the game you got some nice feedback. It isn't nice to hear what's wrong about your game, but this way you'll end up getting better a lot faster, really.

No, I meant that you need to check the game on friends before uploading it :)

This game has a critical flaw in the form of the stamina meter: why is there one in a platformer, which is about movement? Why does it deplete just by moving? Why does it regenerate so slowly? It completely ruins any sense of pace and flow since you have to stand around waiting for much longer than you're actually playing.

The game looks like it could be interesting otherwise, and the art looks great, but the stamina makes it simply not fun to play.

Using copyrighted music is a delicate thing to do: you could get in trouble, or even just remind players of the place it's from and detract from the game's immersion. You should be mindful of that in the future.

However, for a first game, I have to say that it's pretty impressive what you managed to accomplish in terms of art and programming, specially over such a short period. I hope you keep at it!

I am in godot only 2 monthes, thank you

The game looks cool but unfortunately I couldn’t get that far because the stamina regenerates really slowly and you have to start over with every mistake. Also it probably isn’t a good idea to use copyrighted music without permission. The game is pretty impressive for a first title though, so nice work!

Stamina really ends quickly, but at level 4 there is a shop where you can pump it
